So i just moved from ontario to alberta,
im just wondering if anything happends out here
as to a eightys toy expo or something

I'm over here in BC, I'm afraid I've never heard of anything going on in Alberta (although I was born in Reddeer, that was fairly monumental)

Local small shows usually more comic orientened, nothing large enough to warrent coming over the rockies.

Sorry I can't help you on that one. As I would have to see both to compare. That said Botcon being the premier North American TF event I would assume would have a larger one.

I do what I can.

You might want to look into the thread for canadian toy sightings and help let the rest of us know how things in your area are, and interact with some of the other Canadian's posting on this board.
