Just noticed that there isn't one on here so I thought I'd start it up... if anyone has any questions about AA2009, feel free to post them and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

I promise I'll try to answer every question as honestly as possible!

Any plans to fly Stan Bush over this year? Couldn't resist, it's a running gag now.

Did have one thought though. With SDCC falling before AA, the SDCC exclusives being essentially a 'shared exclusive' sith HTS and some Australian retailers and AA having finally started to attract the attention of Hasvro UK last year is there any possability of getting hold of some of the SDCC overstock from Hasbro as convention figures? Given what these figures cost to import I figure that there should be a reasonable margin on them while still being able to beat ebay pricing.

Anywho, should be getting my weekend ticket booked next month, catch you in August Simon.

The SDCC exclusives are obviously something that Hasbro US deal with and as we've found before, anything that Hasbro US do, doesn't really translate across to the UK as the different divisions don't usually work together which is why some events in different countries have had support from their respective branches of Hasbro and it's took us bloody years! lol

Not sure how we could work something like that on a large scale but we'd probably either need a dealer to work with us to take up the initial expense, persuade Hasbro to cover the costs(!) or fund it ourselves which isn't easy right now!

I won't rule out any idea completely at the moment though.

I'm hoping that we'll have Hasbro involved again and this is on my list of jobs to sort out over the next couple of weeks... As for the 2008 display, it was arranged at the last minute but it was a lot more significant that it looked! While it was fairly limited and part-organised by a couple of non-Hasbro people, it DID showcase a couple of toys that were hardcopy hand-made resin TF Animated competition prizes that were being given away through the UK store that NO-ONE had seen or knew about prior to the convention so it was a world unveiling of them! :)

UK comic guests aren't particularly expensive for us to get to be honest but I won't go into too much detail here. Let's just say that the budget has allowed for us to get ELEVEN so far and I'm still waiting to hear from more!

Kitbash workshop... I'm hoping to have all of the workshops being interactive to some degree or another although I do appreciate that it will be harder for the kitbash workshop than the others.

G2 display? I don't know exactly right now, but the art display will be bigger than ever and the toy display most likely will focus on Cheetor and Grimlock... as long as I can find someone with a fairly comprehensive Grimmers collection to help out! lol
