-TFW2005- Cheem the Rup has posted a picture from an Italian catalog featuring new ROTF Merchandise...the key chains!

Buzz created by the images of the 'Power-Up Optimus Prime' toy had many remembering back to when we first saw the shadowed images of these key chains and were impressed.

Well, they are covered by shadows no more. You can see each key chain fairly clearly, including the PU Optimus Prime that has fans 'yaying' or 'naying' at the toy examples of this unknown plot point.

Check out the original thread here, and the images below.

Powered up Optimus Prime looks kinda epic. The BFG is definitely a nice touch.

Wow, what does that cost, $3-4?

And the one that costs 'bout $100 looks like hell...

I don't get you, Hasbro, I really don't.

I wasn't too impressed by the combined leaders, but if this is what he looks like in the movie, that is one of the most badass things I have ever seen in my life.

To be fair, the set that costs $100 has to actually transform ... and into 3 modes at that.

The key chain looks much better than the leader toys. The movie version should look so much better!

I am sticking with my idea that this combination leads to Prime having a trailer. You see, I reckon Prime and Jetfire take a serrious beating while combined, and Jetfire's spark is extinguished. Prime's body is locked together with Jetfire's corpse and he is reformatted into a truck and trailer with Jetfire's remains making up the trailer.

I'm kinda starting to think Jetimus won't actually be in the movie. I mean last time they said they wanted to avoid mass shifting, and I don't see how this could be accomplished otherwise.

Keychains? Those things'll rip holes in the fabric, giving your keys a one-way ticket to being lost.

Power up prime, i laugh every time i read that stupid name. Its sad when a $5 keychain looks better than the $90 figure. Either way i still think its an epic fail. Just a backpack slapped on Optimus. Looks like i wont be buying any keychains from the movie unless they make an Ironhide or Sideways(Barricade) one.

I cannot agree with that.

Prime, with the exception of some different panels, is the Prime from Movie 1. He wasn't designed to combine, it wasn't even an option when he was engineered. So, Prime has two modes that were designed 3 years ago with a new Backpack connector.

Jetfire is an entirely new mold. He was engineered to combine with Prime. But instead of making him be a wrap-around combiner, as the key chain would suggest he is, Hasbro decided that a brick torso with some LED's and a sound card would be more appropriate. Because of this, Jetfire only has 2 modes, SR-71 and Jetfire. Somewhere in-between modes, there is an exposed backpack clip.

The reason I'm being such a hater on the matter is what gets said around hear about the movie toys, "Well if it is movie accurate, I guess I'll get it."

The Keychain for $4 is movie accurate, the 2 Leader Class fig's that combined total $100, is not.

Cost increases, wavering sales, failing lines... I don't care. If it was my call, Hasbro would take a profit cut to maintain quality levels of design and manufacture. This position would make Hasbro a name that stands for quality over all else, a great title to have in a hard economy.

But, I guess they're only interested in their hefty salaries. Don't ask me for a bail-out.

That is one seriously big frickin' gun. I will totally get him. He's probably more acurate than the toy, too!

You know, you might actually be right?!

Isn't jetfire really old?

His spark kould be the kind of thing that could disintigrate at any second
