Custom Prime Icons
Posted: Tue May 12, 2009 12:19 amI've spent the last few days editing a few images into my own custom Primes. So in order of named appearance...
Optimus Prime
Head folds into his back. Fold arms up and back. Lower arms fold down on top of the cab, retract fists. (arms are cannons) Legs push in at the knees and fold back. (Feet fold back with legs.) Add assult trailer full of weapons and he becomes a Cybertronian assult tank.
When I was trying to come up with a new Cybertronian vehicle mode I was actully playing around with 20th Aniverstary Prime and trying to transform him into something other than his offical alt mode and that was the transformation I came up with. The actual design was just me trying to make him look as little like his G1 Earth mode as I possibly could without screwing up the transformation I came up with.
Rodimus Prime
Back spoiler is removeable. Chest folds up to form hood. (top of car on back.) Once chest is up arms push into sides. Open a compartment in the lower legs and fold feet into compartment. Push legs up, the pipes on the legs should connect with the pipes on his arms. Reattach his spoiler to the back of his legs. Now he's a cybertronian hovor car. (No tiares on this version)
I'm not 100% percent sure how Hot Rod actully transforms and the design was mostly based on the original Hot Rod. I do have G1 Rodimus Prime so I kinda based alot of his transformation off that and my own imagination. Makeing him a hovor car was a lazy way of not adding wheels to the robot mode and not haveing to exsplain where his wheels come from which is what I couldn't figure out on the original version.
Primal Prime
Push legs up to conceal the blue upper legs. Open lower arms and rotate robot and gorilla fists. Head with shoulder cannons fold up and all the way into the back pushing out the chest peace which folds up with gorilla head hidden on the other side. This is a technorganic gorilla.
I made him a combination of all 4 of Optimus Primal's forms. He's refered to as a Technorganic (BM), his robot mode parts are colored based off Optimal Optimus, the hand switch transformation was taken from his Transmetal mode, and best mode parts are colored based on the original. The chest piece is a combination of parts from Optimal Optimus, loosely based off the original Optimus Primal's chest piece.
Omega Prime
Transformation is the same as 20th anniversary Prime pluse add Cybertronian car carrior trailer.
Added the head a shoulder pieces from RID Omega Prime but I made this version a single character rather than a combination of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus. The chest design was my own doing. And in case you can't tell the tiars on his feet have been replaced with treds.
Nemesis Prime
Shoulder tiar twist and join into a single tiar. Arms fold up to form trusters. Head pushes into body, automorph exstends the green rear wheel cover between the handle bars on his chest.
Yes the head is Sideways but Sideways allso becomes Nemesis Prime. The body is based off of BM Thrust because they share simular coloring and I really like BM Thrust's design.
Vector Prime
Same as Cybertron Vector Prime.
To be honest I have no idea how Vector Prime even transforms but I used so many parts from him to make this image there's no other way he can transform.
Sentinal Prime
Head folds into his back. Arms fold back and to the side. (Same as G1 Optimus.) Split at the waist, twist, and attach to back of arms. He's a cybertronain Truck, complete with snow plow.
The head design was my attempt to remake Animated Sentinal Prime without the freakishly large chin. I made it as much of a G1 design as possible, kinda helped that I stole Smokescrean's head and added details to make it look like Sentinal. As for the actual truck design, well, I just kept the same design but added some small details to it, the biggest one being the snow plow on his front which is removeable and can be used as a shield.
Longarm Prime
Twist legs so the back of each leg is faceing the other leg combine the legs and feet so that the feet form into a drill. Push legs up so grey part is not seen. Head comes forward and down clipping the back of his head to the chest. The chest section folds up. Push up right arm to conseal fist and grey elbow. Fold right arm onto back. (Right arm is vehicle mode Cockpit) Fold the left arm onto back. (Left arm is crane arm.) And he becomes a Cybertronian Crane.
Robot mode is loosely based on G1 Shockwave and Alternators Laserwave.
