GEEK Monthly to feature Comic Con 09 Transformers Cover

Seibertron.com has been informed that the upcoming Comic Con 2009 edition of GEEK Monthly will feature a special Transformers 25th Anniversary cover. Artist Dave Dorman, best known for his Star Wars paintings, created the first ever painted cover of GEEK Monthly. The artwork features Optimus Prime as known in the original Generation 1 introduction of the Transformers and as Michael Bay's live action heroic leader. Seibertron.com was given an advanced image of the cover, so here it is making its debut:

Mr. Dorman really captured the essence of the 25 years of Transformers with the original G1 Prime resembling the Marvel Comics character we first saw in 1984 to the sharp angled, pure colored CGI representation of the Prime of today's Transformersverse.
Special thanks to Jeff Bond, Editor-in-Chief of GEEK Monthly Magazine for allowing us to debut the cover and to Denise Dorman of Write Brain Media for informing us of the special edition cover. The magazine will be hitting newsstands this month.
