That is simply amazing. I have heard of this before and dare I say that it is out of Area 51 (conspiracy theory) but it looks like it is fast becoming a reality! The world will change if this comes to pass.

yeah we're screwed. You know the people who made this have already made skynet. And once those two combine, well in the words of the great Rattrap....... "we're all gonna die".

Sounds cool enough, especially when Bill talks about it. But it's also downright scary.

Cool! I remember NASA was working on some kind of warping wing/airfoil that could change according to demands and atmospheric conditions. The automatically adjustable radio antenna is a great idea :)

SWEET! This means someday I can go camping without dealing with those F*****g collapsable, folding poles!

The Military and Law Enforcement applications are bound to be pretty cool too. By altering the design within given layers of Body Armor mesh, especially after one portion has sustained damage, certains areas could be "patched over" or panel sections realigned in certain spots to give added protection and potentially save lives or limbs during hostile situations. Same principle could be employed in vehicle armor or on future shuttlecraft for damaged portions. Space saving applications are about to go through the roof as well. Why so many people have a doom and gloom outlook on future-tech, I'll never understand.
If anyone is afraid of it just watch the last five minutes of "Escape From L.A." with Kurt Russel. Problem Solved.

If they can make Blackout land on an enemy base and transform and throw tanks, that would be cool.

All good and well, but on Aug 29th it'll become self aware and kill us all. :D

If you were a machine and you became self aware in the midst of 7 billion members of the human race, don't you think the logical course of action would be to take your own life instead? :P

Not if I have advanced technology and some big-ass guns at my disposal...

I'll make sure to keep my Dad away from it then. So far there has been nothing so advanced (that I've found) that a redneck that THINKS he knows what he's doing can't "F" it up.

Hey, Bay says he's in tight with the military. His was one of the only operations running full steam ahead during the strikes, he completed it in an amzingly short time and still pulled off a movie that is blowing records away. I smell a conspiracy brewing here. :P 8-}

Full steam ahead with no script. I spoke with a guy who works on the Paramount lot and he said (and the writers will confirm this) all the crew had was a 30 page outline to work off of. No script really. Explosions are nice and pretty and all, but don't really mean anything if u don't have a solid story/script. The writers were on set making everything up on the day as they went on. That's no way to shoot a movie. The guy also told me Bay has one of the top worst reputations in Hollywood. Is anti-union, worked illegally during the strike - etc. Even had to deal with him a few times - basically a bigtime db. I wanted to like Mike, but this sealed the deal for me when I heard this. Spielberg so should've went with a different director -or even done it himself. Wtf was he thinking??

I haven't seen him in years. Glad he's still doing what he does best.

This is a very cool idea.
Technological advances. You gotta marvel at it.

We could use a good rail gun to transform enemy countries into glass. :P These machines wouldn't be self aware more like Macross mechanized battle suits. And create triple changing vehicles that can travel in the air, land or in the sea. But you know I heard this same rumor when the 2007 movie came out.
