This forum is about Star Wars Transformers, and all things about it. What is your favorite SWTF? Do you like the figures? Tell it all here.

My favorite figure is Clone Wars-style Anakin Skywalker. He's one of the three that I have, but he's the best.

Hehe, I remember seeing those at Toys r Us. How many do you own and what made you interested in buying those? Funny thing is, I have been watching Star Wars 3 Revenge of the Sith for the last 2 hour and 20 minutes. :SMUG: But do you think this topic belongs on Seibertron.com? It's more Star Wars then Transformers, but I guess since the two companies came together for those toys why not.

I have the Darth Vader tie fighter and the Vader / Jedi star fighter. They are in the packages on a shelf in my son's room for display. My wife got me them for Christmas a few years ago since Vader is my favorite Star Wars character and I love transformers too. Pretty cool, but I'll probably never remove them from the packaging.

Then they first came out, I was put off by the robot heads on Darth Vader (Tie Fighter) and Boba Fett. Just felt they looked silly. However when Jedi Star Fighter Darth Vader came out, I liked the new head and the red eyes. He reminded me of Straxus. Also have the Death Star.

Also have that horned Jedi whose name I can't quite remember and a couple of the Clone trooper craft. Mace Windu is nice and I actually like the little pilots especially since human Mace can sit in G1 Jazz.

The vehiclemodes are great represntations of the craft from the SW movies. It's only the heads I find lacking. But like Beast Wars and the TF Movie lines, I did come around eventually.

However I would still prefer the traditional G1 helmet look.

The line does suffer from a lack of fiction though at least there's an attempt at characterisation on the packaging. Though it's a bit vague and suggests in some cases that the Transformers are not sentient and merely piloted by the SW characters.

There are a few approaches you can make regarding the characters.

You can simply have the SW characters pilot the TF's or you can project the SW character onto the TF.

I like the idea that the TF's maybe crashed and were discovered by their respective pilots. In which case Sidious' ship is the Decepticon Commander and they both work together grudgingly, one seeking an advantage over the other.

Whereas I see Obi Wan's ship as a G1 Prowl type and therefore similar in personality to Obi Wan allowing for a smooth cooperation.

I also like the idea of being hundreds of the differemt clone craft allowing for army building.

Yes, apart from a few naff robot heads, I do quite like this line.

I got the Darth Vader/Death Star, simply because I like Planet-formers.

I want the Han Solo, Chewie/Millenium Falcon, but I am waiting to find it cheap. Apparently I missed out on a sale TRU had on them bringing them down to, like, 24 bucks...i think.

I hate the robot modes, but their alt modes are pretty decent.
