I would like to say hello..

..to everyone here!

For a few months now i've been scrolling the site, mostly to find galleries of pics from Transformers i either want to buy (to check them out alot better than any given eBay pics or a Google image search) or just to show others which TF's i have (to show off really~~)

I don't know who takes those pictures and if it's just one person or all done in one and the same location, but their great! Nice comparisment pictures and fighting scenes.
However sometimes i wish they were of a bigger resolution, but that's just me.

Now about me..
I've been a fan ever since i saw them on TV. I really can't remember why i became a fan..probably 'cause i like cars and that every car/vehicle has it's own personality..well anyway!! I guess you'll get the point
I got the G1 DVD's, lots of comics (all TPB) aaaaand a spree of Transformers..i don't have pics yet, i can only say there too many to type them all out right now hehe.
Among them are lots from the 2 movies, however in my opinion i don't really know what to think of those Transformers..some are really cool and others are just kinda..
In robot mode, i think they are a bit too detailed..when i watch at such a Transformer my mind clinges and i just see a hard to describe "thing"
RIGHT, i don't think my point of view comes across though, but i hope it does :)

Back to the TF's i own, i'm awaiting G1's Wheeljack, Masterpiece Starscream (the latter one, i like those colors more) and G1's Skids, they are all beeing shipped right now..so i hope i'll have them within a week or 2 =P~

I'm kinda curious who runs the place here, who started seiberton.com and what, where and what age you guys/girls all are.
I am 26, male and i'm from the Netherlands.

Uh..and i linked my site in the sig, hope i didn't break any rule by doing that..i'm not making any profit out of it heh.
I did make the image in the sig myself, i did create the Diablo but didn't yet release it.
Thinking about to model a Transformer sometimes.

Ok, one more thing..
I'd like to know from each person (but you don't have to ofcourse) which Transformer would be awesome to buy, if i would buy a new one

That'be it, thanks for reading :)

Undercover cop? Waaaay too friendly FBI agent? Michael Bay? :P

Seriously, you want to know all that, just hang out here for a while and you'll learn. :)

And if I could have 1 TF it would be G1 Fortress Maximus.

lol.

Seibertron (Ryan) has been running this site for nine years. He takes the vast majority (all?) the gallery pictures himself, and, as you've noted, does a fantastic job. As for our ages, it varies. Seibertron.Com is a family-friendly site, appropriate for all ages, though the bulk of our active (vocal) members are between 18 and 30 years of age.

Chronologically, or mentally?

HK, I suspect I'm the oldest. Not sure if I'm proud of that or not.

Welcome! And as I was greeted when I joined Seibertron.com last year: "Beware! May contain nuts!" In all seriousness, the ppl on this forum are great & generally way more kind & respectful toward each other's thoughts & opinions compared to what I've seen on other boards (a lot of that is due to great mods).

I enjoyed hearing you share your personal TF history. As for what I'd recommend? I've said it before to other ppl: I'm not even that big of a Prime/Convoy fan, but if you don't already own it, I think that Masterpiece Prime/Convoy (MP-04, because it comes with a trailer) is a MUST-HAVE. Fantastic alt mode, super-accurate/detailed bot mode, lots of fancy-pants accessories. He just gets a little top heavy sometimes because of the diecast, but just lean him up against a wall, and you're good to go!

if you already got him, it sounds like you enjoy the old G1 cartoons and have started collecting some of those original figures. Based on that, if you haven't done so already, you should definitely check out all the Universe/Classics TFs line, starting with: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Cyclonus, Hound, Inferno, Jetfire, Starscream... lots of great ones for the enthusiast looking for G1 done in with modern engineering/sensibility. Perhaps a little more simple & "cleaner looking", since you don't seem to like the movie toys as much. Just my two cents.

actually if you want to go a third way, there is "board years" which equates to when you registered. making me, in fact, older than you and Name_Violation by 1 and 2 years :P

Was reading the US comics this morning (Classics Transformers Volume 4 from IDW) and there you had the Seacons..i remembered i had the fish one! I didn't like it back then though haha..and i also remember a black car which converted with his hood folding against his back revealing his head..
But!!!!!!!!! I just don't remember where i put them..i wouldn't have thrown that away and noone else would do that either..
Have yet one place to try to find them, hope there'll be there.

be honored, also if you happen to see a Wheelimus Prime out there, please not that; I, Guardian Prime am the original Wheelimus, and every other one is just a cheap knock-off.

Yeah, he usually had good parts in the comics, I just didn't like the way he died.

-1st Movie: Bumblebee ('79 Camaro)

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Nein  Here in the Netherlands (or Holland) we speak Dutch (for the ones that don't know~~) However we do get teached with French and German, but not the all of us, therefor i do not know how to speak German..'cause i was one of them that didn't get teached heh.
I only know Dutch and English, but since German and Dutch look alot alike i can read it kinda.
Where are you from then btw?

Yeah i bought a few through eBay too, like all the G1 ones and the 2 Masterpieces..
Forgot to add that i've also got Sideways (TF2 Movie) and obviously the PS2 game (which just rocks!) and the 2 movie games (latter one is good, fun online)

i am from Texas, technically. but my mom grew up in italy.

i tuaght myself german and spanish at www.freerice.com

as for spanish:

"no hobla espeniol" (someone correct me on that if i spelled spanish wrong) which translates to "I don't Speak Spanish"

all you need is that phrase and you too can hold an intellegent conversation in spanish :P

Hehe yeah that one i do know, i thought it was "No habla espanol" though and ofcourse "Habla ingles?"
I also know how to say i don't know in french, but dunno how to type it haha.

Regarding the TF's..it's quite hard in the Netherlands to buy them in the stores. There has been a spree of Animated..i did buy them all in the stores but lots of them where a unique find. Now all i see from Animated is just Jazz, Oil Slick and Soundwave..they really got pushed away when the ROTF ones came....
Then it's also impossible to order a specific TF...AS THEY ARE ALL THE SAME BARCODES PER CLASS!!! :-x [/venting rant over]
