I noticed the other day that most of the Alternators were outdated. What would G1 Characters be today as far as alternate forms?

Here's my picks:
Jazz - Porsche 911
Prowl, Bluestreak, etc - 2010 Ford Shelby GT500
Sideswipe, Sunstreaker - Lamborghini Galardo
Wheeljack - Lamborghini Murcielago
Bumblebee - VW New Beetle
Cliffjumper - Mini Cooper S
Windcharger - 2010 Chevy Camaro
Mirage - Race car
Hound - Jeep Wrangler
Brawn- Jeep Liberty
Trailbreaker - Chevy Trailblazer
Ironhide/Ratchet - Dodge Sprinter or Ford Flex
Skids - Honda Fit
Tracks - Corvette
Gears - Mini Crossman (assuming they make it) or Toyota FJ Cruiser

Camshaft - Mazda RX-8
Downshift - Mitsubishi Eclipse
Overdrive - Ferrari F430

Breakdown - Lamborghini Gallardo
Dead End - Nissan GT-R
Wildrider - Ferrari 599

Runamuck- Ford Mustang
Runabout - Nissan GT-R

That's pretty much it. I didn't touch Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave or any Jets. My focus was on cars. I also didn't focus on "future" cars such as Hot Rod.

What would be your picks?

Wasn't Hot Rod's alt mode basically a Dome Zero with some cosmetic modifications? A futuristic design for the time but not really a future car, kind of like the DeLorean DMC-12.

That's easy.

The seekers would be:

Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker - F-22 or F-35

Thrust- AV-8B Harrier

Dirge/Ramjet - Russian Foxbats.

Optimus would still be a Cab over semi

Warpath - M1A1

Powerglide - A-10 Thunderbolt II

Megatron - Desert Eagle .50

Combaticons:

Onslaught - MLRS
Brawl-Paladin Tank
Vortex- AH-1W Cobra
Blast Off-F/A-18D superhornet
Swindle- HMMWV

Soundwave-Laptop computer *Personal opinion*
Cassettes could be multiple internal hardrives?

Most likely these guys would be the F-35s, as the US is super- anal about selling F-22s to any other country (they won't do it at all,) and the President and the military are thinking of really limiting them, as their upkeep is turning out to be difficult and expensive.

I think it also depends on the Seeker's body type, as being G1, they can't just 'morph' into a new look like the Movie-verse guys can. In G1, the computer had to scan for the closest airplane type to their body structure, or the 'reformatting' wouldn't work out as well.

I'd say F-35s, since the F-22 is under the gun and will probably be obsolete.

I'd like someone to be a Chinook. I like Chinooks. Big ridiculous lookin' flying deathtraps. Got Decepticon written all over it. (I say Vortex, but that's just me).

HK, size *does* matter, well, when it comes to rotors.

I agree, I'd love to see some dual rotor heli transformers.

Well, I don't think Teletran I would really care about what the US thinks about selling the F-22 :P

Why couldn't the F-22 fit? I think it would, the F-22 and F-15 aren't that much different *in size and style I mean*

As for a Chinook, why not make Springer? He's the only helicopter I know, except Vortex....
