Car Robots, Super Link, and Galaxy Force had some pretty catchy J-pop openings and closings. I'm not too fond of the later modifications to the original "Robots in Disguise" theme (the song, not the series). It was good in seasons 1 and 2, but after that, it started getting old

Season 1 G1 opening and closing theme songs.

The theme song of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers, apparently and appropriately titled "Transform", has grown on me. A nice 80s J-pop song.

The Headmasters theme is a great punchy song. Head on!

The TFA theme song is great too, a poppy update to the classic G1 theme.

G1 opening theme...it's easy to remember

G1 season 2 and 3 do it for me

i particularly love season 3 G1 intro.sounded more lively n holistic,if i should say so.lol

n i do like masterforce n victory intro as well.cool japanese tunes

Between RID and Armada. Animated wasn't bad but Cybertron was awful. What was with the evangelist type voice over?

In terms of background music, nothing beats the jingles of G1. One thing Beast Wars failed in was music. Thankfully it didn't spoil the series.

For some reason "New Divide" stuck with me much more than "What I've Done" I don't count the 86 movie, because I like everything from the soundtrack of that one. Everything.

G1 theme, the Shout Factory dvds have it on the menu, and I never get tired of listening to it.

If we are just looking at song, then the very first G1 theme. If we are also counting the video, then the "Rebirth" theme.

Micron Densetsu's two opening themes, "Transformer-Dream Again" and " TRANSFORMERS: Kōtetsu no Yūki", have got to be the best Japanese TF opening themes of them all.
