I do alot of searching for transformer deals and good finds.
A good find i have found is a trailer that i had fit perfect on my Masterpiece optimus prime. i haven't painted it yet but got autobot stickers on good old pay twice the price E-bay.
so when i finish it i think it will ROCK.

Good find, I guess. Can't you buy the trailer for MP OP separately from Hasbro or Takara, though? I know there was MP-04 Convoy that came with the trailer, but those of us who only have the cab, there is a trailer available by itself, isn't there? I mean, I like my MP OP just the way he is, I don't care about the trailer.

My greatest find? A MISB G1 Fortress Maximus for $550. In 2001. But I no longer have it. I opened it and displayed it, but sold it in 2005 for $1350 anyway. Made $800, but I really miss that toy.

Cool, my best TF find would either be my G2 OP or my Flip Transformer *plays with it constantly*

The best find i had all together was between 75 & 90 Transformers from some kid about 16 years old.
He just got at that age that they weren't kool and wanted $ for the hunnies.
you know when you buy one NEW and its hard to transform because its to stiff.
well they were like that with all weapon's and instructions.
there was a master piece optimus and about 19 Alternarors. 2 unicrons ( armada and energon ) energon omega supreme and a crap load of armada energon and cybertron to. got all for about $175.

A toss up between Victory Deathsaurus and Powermaster Optimus Prime.

A 98% complete US of Fortress Maximus (missing as far I could tell Cerbroes' hand gun and the radar dish) at LCS and bought for $125.00! Of course this was back in 97 or 98 before Transformers were real "hot" again. I damn near passed out when I saw it.

For things I bought, I think my best Transformer find so far is a MISB Wal Mart exclusive yellow repaint of RiD Landfill. It was $35 USD shipped so it's a darn good deal when I consider that it's a set of 4 deluxe sized figures(I consider a fair price for Deluxe figures to be between $10-$15 CAD as that's the going rate here) and that it's an exclusive, which normally are worth more money.

I also found a nearly brand Universe Onslaught for $14 USD shipped. It was loose but complete, only used for display, smoke free home, and the paint apps are pretty much spotless. The price of Onslaught was actually $2 but there was $12 for shipping.

$12 shipping is pretty harsh, but good deal nonetheless.

Definitely! Fortunately, it was worth it. The person I bought it from put it in a spacious box filled with crumpled newspapers and Onslaught was in a bubble wrap womb. At least he had a comfy trip to my home.

Guess as long as the figure wasn't damaged, the shipping is worth it.

Saw a post from an Irish fan about oversized Robotmasters in Cork about 4 years ago. Contacted him and he told me where they were.

Went down and got Wingstun, Wrecker Hook and R-Blade for 2 euro each. They were all deluxe size. Wingstun looks great in either mode with Acid Storm.

Only sorry I didn't buy multiples to get them repainted as the Machine Wars, Beast Wars and RID versions.

Oversized KO Bruticus, my first Ebay purchase.

32 G2 TF's very reasonably priced and got a free Pyro when I opened the package.

The custom heads for G1 Ironhide and Ratchet on Ebay. Cannot put Ironhide down. They enhance the toys that much.

Euro Spittor with free BW vid for 4 euro, 7 or 8 euro after BW came out. That vid got me into Beast Wars in a big way.

Found 3 RM seeker repaints to boost the RM seeker ranks.

Got a selection of 4 0r 5 Actionmasters figure including Euro Bombshell for 11euro.

I picked up a MIB Worlds Smallest Soundwave for 30usd. I was pretty pleased with that. Going back a lot further, I got a complete Metroplex with its legs full of micromasters for 7usd. Those would have to be the best deals I have ever gotten.

I had a completely mint G1 jetfire that I got for $10, and mint jetfire box/styrofoam that I got for $1, on two seperate occasions, that I put together and traded for a MIB G1 Omega Supereme back in 1997. held on to Omega until 2004 and sold him for $200.

I miss Omega but I have a different complete Jetfire to remind me!

RID Optimus and Ultra Magnus (Omega Prime)both MISB $70 just last weekend.

Make your own out of things you already have = cheap, satisfaction of making something
Buy your own overpriced trailer = perfect item but empty wallet

I lucked out and found a mint condition MRJ Machine-Robo Triple Jim figure.It doesnt have any accessories and is missing 2 coptor blades but I found out its one of the rarest Machine-Robo figures to find because it was only released in Japan and the lowest price I saw online was $165.00 and I only paid $12.00 for it!

omega supreme with working electronics and 100% complete for just under 100 3 years ago. and a thunderwing shell 2 large guns, box and insert for 15. i have since got the inner robot so got a good deal on him all together.

I just got a G1 Metroplex on Ebay for $16. The only things he is missing is the hands. I also recently got a G1 Skyfire for $30, missing only the gun clip.

Found a G1 Grandus in a garage sale.. owner thought it was a knockoff because he couldn't find it in his priceguide to Transformers. Got it for $10, felt a little guilty that I didn't tell him it was Japan-only, so not in his book.

Takara MP G1 repaint Starscream.

It was the last one at my local collector's store, and it was miracle that I actually got it, since it was released over six months ago before I finally decided to buy it.
