Yeah, I know he didn't have any, but if he was something other than a fighter jet, what would fit him? Probably not a toaster. And I'm not doing this just to mess with the fangirlz' heads, I swear. ;;)

Don't forget, in the slash canon, not only is Starscream a huge favorite, so's Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. SO I expect a similar thread about them Lambo boys. That is...unless you ARE doing this to mess with Starscream fangirls. In which case, I gesture obscenely in your general direction.

Because I have some variety of flu, which fever is boiling my brain (but I'm here at work anyway to Typhoid Mary it up), I cannot take this thread seriously. First thing that popped into my head was--he's fast and not very bright, so...he wouldn't be a toaster. He'd be a microwave. And Megatron would be a toaster oven, and Blackout would be a blender, and Shockwave would be the fridge.

It depends on what features of his well-rounded (and did I say *hot*?) character one wishes to emphasize. I think of him as fast, not very smart and kind of a jerk. Jet fits that pretty well, because the stereotype of the jet pilot is similar. A police car would work for the same reason. Maybe a SWAT or some other sort of thing?

Decepticons used to be the 'flyers' while Autobots were ground based, so that really limits our choices if we want to emphasize that. You have jets, helicopters, prop planes and...what? hovercraft?

And while I love the AC 130 (as I think everyone here probably already knows) that doesn't seem to fit his general character.

HK, did I mention he's *hot*?

This was true mainly for G1, but since no series or time frame was given, he really could be anything. :P When I think of Starscream, I think fast, sleek, and he thinks too much.

If he were a different kind of flier, I'd say he'd more than likely be a raven or a sleek looking space shuttle with artillery.

If he were anything else, I'd probably say...a toaster. I really can't imagine him well as a non-flier since a fighter jet fits him so well. =)

Actually, in the English dubbing to Car Robots (R.I.D.), I thought Starscream was a flying squirrel :P (I'm not sure if that counts though since the Japanese name was Guildo, not Starscream.) =)

 That is perfect. A big bulky thing that is ice cold. I'm gonna start calling my fridge Shockwave now.

So Starscream is Italian? Yes, I know it's "Guildo" not "Guido" but it's close enough. :P (That is Italian, right?)

Yeah, she would know...when we start talking about Tracks, you'll be relevant, Frenchie. :P :D

Given his tricky and traitorous nature, I say a stealth bomber fits him well. :-?

A pterodactyl.

Ok, I'm being heavily influenced by Beast Wars Terrorsaur here. But then he was BW's answer to Starscream in everything but name. Power hungry, traitorous, high pitched voice, flying alt-mode.

I mean even the WW Starscream mold in it's Thrust incarnation could easily be pre-beast Terrorsaur.

It's hard to imagine Starscream as anything but a flyer.

The Transmetal Terrorsaur toy is not a bad idea.

I can't imagine the Screamer as anything else! He always has been and always will be a jet.
And if you want to mess with the fangirlz, just mention Armada Screamer and Alexis

You mean the *younger* fangirls, right? That's why it's spelled with that trendy '-z'? Armada Screamer was...a little angsty for me. I could just see him putting the Crow soundtrack on his myspace page.

And my robot-pedophilia stance has been articulated elsewhere. Here's a recap:

HK, G1...swoon. Or, actually, the Bay one. He's pretty hot.

Anything else to me is just not Starscream.
