Who is your favourite TF sidekick/partner? I mean in terms of Nebulan companian, Mini-con or the likes of Top Heavy, Six-gun or Roller. I suppose the cassettes fall into this category too.

Was revisiting the Dreamwave MTMTE books today, both G1 and Armada, and while reading some of the Actionmaster profiles, I started thinking how some of the partners are almost more interesting than the TF they come with.

Dreamwave's books really made some great attempts at characterising some of the little guys. For example the fact that Glitch is actually an unappreciated master spy but Rollout gets all the credit.

Or the gruff Top Heavy who looks out for Skyfall.

Of course they could just be a cool toy.

For me it's Top Heavy. I like the characterisation given him by DW and I love the toy. He's got a really cool gun mode and the coolest rhino mode of all the TF rhinos.

Just a shame he's partnered with Skyfall who I'm not too fond of. Though I always thought repainting Armada Skywarp as Skyfall would be cool.

I've always been fond of Catgut too. Thought he was a cooler toy than G1 Ravage.

So which of the partners do you like?

What about human sidekicks?

actually they were all annoying like "Let me help, you know you can't do that without me!". I mean on the real, how the hell do Humans fight against huge robots.

How ever, I did like sari the most out of all the human sidekicks. As for robot, it'd have to be Inferno from Beast Wars!! Though he never really came with anyone, he was technically a sidekick...

How can anyone resist the prison-love-story (including bad jailhouse tats) that is Beast Wars Starscream and BB?

I swear I can't combine them without blushing and making sure my neighbors aren't looking. Have you ever thought out what part of Starscream is going in what part of BB? It's.............. odd.

But Sari wasn't actually human. thats why she was tolarable.

since you lobbed the cassetticon into the catagory(grrrrr. they are individuals damn it) gotta go with either Ravage or Laserbeak. After all Laserbeak had the best performance record of the cons in the G1 cartoon.

I always liked the little guy with Action Master Shockwave. He was just nifty.

Shockwave's partner was called Fistfight.

Everyone loves the cassettes but Soundwave's Actionmaster partner never gets any love.

Wingthing had a cooler alt mode than a mere tape, he became Soundwave's gun.

And let's not forget Snarl's Actionmaster companion, the 6th Dinobot Tyrannitron. I'd love to see Cruellock repainted in the traditional Dinobot grey/red colour scheme to give us a new version of Tyrannitron.

Hmmmm... I never liked any of the action master partners, except for Push Button! It's just that he's a warrior forced to be partnered with a pacifist math nerd! HAAAAA!

I like Sari too.

other than spike ive hated any kind of sidekick other than the cassettes. so guess a cassette or spike is mine lol

I have to say roller is my favourite sidekick, but I like Ravage and Laserbeak too ^_^ And not to forget Reedman from the movie

1. Humans are useless and should immediatelly be squished. (Unless they prove their worth, ie. GIJOE)

2. Autobot Best Sidekick: Prowl, Jazz or Ironhide to the big OP.

3. Baddies? Soundwave Cassette Army! Ratbat, Laserbeak or RAVAGE! good kitty...*kisskiss*

I like the Brest Animals in Victory. They're like a cross between casseticons and targetmasters! In fact, they are triplechangers!

Mode 1: Folded up on chest *ahem* Brest
Mode 2: Little cute animal
Mode 3: Targetmaster gun thing

The Brest Forces not only has the bad-ass Brest Animals, but they wear co-ordinating hats to match them!

As if that wasn't cool enough, the Brest Force combine to make LioKaiser.

There you go, combiners with casseti-targetmasters!

Lead by the gorgeous Leozack who is lead by the equally gorgeous Destron Emperor Deszaurus, who is so cool get this, he has two Brest Animals!
