I've only been a member for a month or two, and I'm LOVING this site. I've gotten a lot of enjoyment from it, and I've learned/remembered a bunch of TF information. So, I've got some questions that I've been wondering about. I think your responses would be pretty interesting...

1. This is a really nice-looking, well run site. How did it start? I'd like to hear about the early days. Seibertron, did you start it on your own or by you and others?

2. How many of the "high-level" members like Cyber Bishop, Seibertron, Mkall, and Supreme Convoy (plus mods, news team, etc.) personally know each other? Do you guys live near each other, hang out together? Or did you get to know each other through this site?

3. For the people who have been here a long time (before the 2007 and 2009 movie blitz), it must be pretty cool to see TFs return to the forefront. I know I've enjoyed it. It's cool to see my favorite childhood toy still be on top.

4. How does one become a moderator or a news team member?

Well, I've been here since '05, just randomly stumbled across it. I'll give my answers and will no doubt be corrected.

1. I dunno, beats the hell outta me. (At least I am honest)

2. Most of us live in different parts of the country/world, but tend to get together at Botcon, and meet up with other local memebers randomly.

3. It's defianatly a LOT bigger now than it was in '05, but for the most part the site still has most of it's tight knit kind feel to it.

4. The staff have on occasion sent out requests for help, and people seem to "fall into" the roles as they spend more and more time in the forums, and the mods are chosen. Anyone can submit news, I have been FPC'ed (front paged and credited) twice, but it really depends on who gets the news up first. I can't stay up that late and cruise the internet like you young wipper snappers do!

I'm sure there are a lot better answers out there, but that's what I've got.

#4: You have to sacrifice a Virgin at midnight during full moon while saying Optimus Prime five times and then drink the virgin Blood. Also bury the body under a tree that looks like Unicron.

Thanks for the link, Dead Metal. It was cool to see the old website designs/layouts. I was also curious where the site was out of (Now, I know: Chicago).

That link brought back some memories.
