I have a question for all of those who have attended Botcon before. I have never been, so I don't know what it is like. Thankfully this year I will be able to go since I live about a half hour away.

So here is my question...what happens at Botcon? For those of you wondering, I am not a registered attendee. I just planned on going with the general public. So is it like a car convention? You go around to different booths? Does the general public get to see the new stuff?

Somebody please let me know!

-meet tons of people that like what you like and actually understand you

-last year there was a theatrical showing of the 20th aniversary movie

Out of curiosity, where does Botcon take place?

This year it's taking place in pawtucket RD, right smackdab near Hasbro headquarters

The only reason I would go this year:

Classics Thundercracker, Thrust, Dirge, Thunderwing, & Bugbite. That's it.

I'd go to Botcon if I won the lottery. That and Comic Con.

The fact that it's in RI is enough reason for me to go. However Im already going to Portcon this summer up in Portland, ME.

When is Botcon again?

I will be going BOTCON 2007 for 1st time. Providence,RI is not far where i live. : i will be going on SAT. FOR General ADMISSION i will be wearing new AUTOBOT Hat and shirt on.
can you buy the GENERAL ADMISSION at the door right and how long the line is .

I'm considering driving up tomorrow morning from Jersey and doing the General Admission thing. Think I'll have to wait long in line? I assume it's too late to get any of the convention exclusives (Alpha Trion, Springer, Thundercracker and Dirge look nice) - I'm assuming I also can't get in to the concert.
I haven't been to Botcon in a decade.
