and i will tell ya why, you see when i come on this awesome site one of the first things i see is an ad for some kind of game, and the ad has 2 pics of megan fox, the word transformers and play now. the thing i find wrong about that ad is that it promotes a transformers game BUT HAS NO TRANSFORMERS ON THE AD!!!! transformers does not equal megan fox! now days it seems if you put megan fox and or shia on anything it means transformers. now i know they were the stars of the two best movies but the credit should go to the real stars, the transformers. and those two humans are not what makes transformers, transformers! i cried when i saw that ad. i really did cry. im starting to lose faith in the new TFs movies. the only thing good about them are the toys but not all of them of course. what do u think? :?

Personally I could do without ads for those games, ads for stores selling tf's and other related stuff is fine.

Without the Transformers Movies, the popularity of Transformers would probably have died by now. I wouldn't be here on Seibertron.com, and I'm sure a hell of a lot of other people wouldn't. Like it or not, the movie has brought in fans, and the success of their massive toy lines helps fuel other Transformers toy lines. Depressed? There's a ton of other things, I'm thinking more personal situations that you can spend your emotions on instead of Transformers, ads and an internet site.

yeah guess it did bring in a lot of fans, but now it seems that its all about the humans, and i think its sad.

Transformers has all been about Humans. Every cartoon series has one, whether it's a heavy influence or not. It's always been about the interactions between Humans and Transformers... simply because we are Human. Yes, I'll agree with you, I want more Transformers + Transformers interaction, but hell that just doesn't happen these days anymore.

Not strictly true, Beast Machines never had any humans and Beast Wars was pretty far from being about interactions with humans even though it did contain a little bit of early human, but you couldn't really call them humans.

In my opinion the new movies were too heavily focused on the humans. And they do seem to focus too much on the actors when advertising but if that works for the advertising agencies then they are gonna carry on regardless.

Not all humans are bad though, some are actually good for the plot.

As for Transformers I wouldn't say that I want more TFs but better quality TFs. In personality, looks, toys, more screen time so that you can actually see their personality, no pointless appendages (Devastator). Oh and less unnecessary fluid leakage.

Hey, Megan Fox sells.
Sadly. You may be taking it a little personally, but it is stupid to have an ad for Transformers and there aren't even any Transformers on the ad.

I think that you may want to talk to someone a little more......."qualified" to handle your situation. No offence but totally serious here, if you cried at a transformers ad on the internet for its lack of transformers, you may have bigger issues that you probably want to/should talk to somebody about.

You know, I've noticed something very similar to this happening elsewhere too.

Lately, whenever I hear or see a reference made to the live action TF movies, its usually only so a mentioning of Megan Fox can be made. I'll give two examples.

In an episode of The Big Bang Theory, one of the characters, Howard, is unsure if he should form a steady relationship with the girl he's been dating becuase he's always wanted someone as hot as a movie star or a super model. When he mentions the names of some actresses that he's deems hot enough for him, the first one he mentions right off the bat is "Megan Fox from Transformers." :BANG_HEAD:

In an episode of 10 Things I Hate About You, one character, Joey, has just started going steady with one of the main characters, Bianca, but the thing is, she's a virgin and he didn't know it until that episode. Near the episode's conclusion, he came over to see her and explained that he at first thought that they were going to have what he referred to as an "R-rated" relationship. But now that he knew that it would have to be a "PG-rated" one, he couldn't remember the last PG movie he saw... until he finally did: "Transformers 2," he said. And then he went on to talk about how good-looking Mega Fox was in it, despite not exposing anything on screen. :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: This is also wrong becuase ROTF wasn't rated PG, but PG-13! :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD:

This is why I'm glad Fox said that she'd ditch her tan and go for a more important, less "eye candy"-type role in the third film.
