Ha! Karma is good!

What? So he was calling you transformers like a nick name? Whats wrong with that yo? You should have just looked him in the eye(or walked up to him)and say....."F*** YEAH!!!" and then walk away.

Other than that him getting dumped, and you thinking that was "Karma" for calling you Transformer seems.......well you know. :P

He ment it as an insult-and i am a teacher, although i don't know the kid it doesnt mean that he doesnt go to my school, and i really cant afford to threaten kids.

So it can be frustrating not being able to reply, and that little slice of Karma felt so damn good! :P

Here's a tip: If someone insults you, be overly calm about it.

Like "If you say so," "okay," "Sure," all in a nonchalant voice (I do it as if I'm stoned), can get the reply out, and not instigate further.

It's very satisfying.

Dude you could of had a comeback that didn't have to be a harsh insult. And calling someone Transformers does not an insult make. Your a teacher eh? I'm sure you've heard worse other than Transformer.

Your sense of karma makes me chuckle like a dirty jawa. :P

yeah i have heard worse, and i wasnt particularly pissed at the kid-it happens. But i am a guessin the kid was a jerk, and therefor it is soooooooooo refreshing to see something just a litttle nasty happen to him.

And for the record,
A:I am not ashamed of my transformers love, i sport my con and bot tattoos with pride (and yes most of my students are aware of them)

B:I am blessed as far as teachers go in that i dont have a nasty nickname, the worst is Brother Brian (because i replaced a priest named Brother Sean)

C:There is no way that u ever ever exchange wit on ANY level with a possible student u dont konw out side of school!!! Ever!!! As a young teacher i can not afford to have my career wrecked by some little sh*t trying to get me in trouble-i had a very close call woth a religion class once and i would hate to revisit that

I know what you mean Grimsqueaker. I'm a teacher too and it's tough sometimes. There are times when you must act a certain way (even in public) because your reputation is on the line. This kid sounds like a punk.

I only got that joke now-Duh!

Not a bad one, but would a 15 year old boy know what My Little Ponys are? Or would i just look really really gay?

Still, its a good line and it made me smile

My work colleagues are dead sound about my TF's. One even asked if I wanted any brought back when she went on hols to America.

Two others have seen the collection and the response from one was "all the evenings I've been bored out of my mind when I could have been here playing with these."

In fact others keep asking me to bring some in to work.

Girls really seem to like them which I find odd but strangely encouraging.

In school, I had the Transformers thing shouted across the street at me but most of them were gits anyway. How I wished I was a Headmaster so the car would drive up and then we'd transform and put them in their place.

I agree that it's annoying when these little gits think thay can get away with it but that's the way it is. You did the right thing by not responding. While I don't condone your enjoying his comeuppance, I certainly understand it.

I'm reminded of TF UK 261?, the end of Perchance to dream where Prowl tells Galvatron that Autobots are dedicated to ignoring their baser instincts. Something we should all aspire to.

My brother just walked past and called me Transformer. I smiled at him and told him the USB line would be installed, direct linking me to computers any day now.

heh I'm 16 and I get the mickey take because I have my minicons on my desk when I'm doing my exams. I'm a TF fan and I'm proud of it; almost everyone in my school knows it. So those that really know me kinda can't be that bothered coz they know it's not worth it; I take their insults as compliments and just get on with it.

It also helps that I scored highest in my exams ;)

i used to be called Transformer, before, too.

i used to wear some TF shirts to work, and one of my coworkers, (also one of my only african american friends) started singing the TF song whenever i walked passed, so we started hangin out on break, talking about TF...

Well, it's satisfying that the younger generations are at least aware of the G1 television show.
