I recently purchased a G1 Skywarp and it has no date or manufacturer stamp. Anyone know what that means? It is obviously old and I can see nothing to lead me to believe it's not from the '80s. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. thanks

I got out my e-Hobby Sunstorm, which has the same base mold, and the copyright stamps are in a somewhat inconspicuous place. Remove all the wings and check the outside of the left leg.

I've gone over every inch. There is nothing. I own the other seeker jets and am familiar with the ussual locations of the stamp. Weird. Just wondering if anyone knew what it might mean.

I dont think it means anything other then they forgot to stamp it.

I've heard, over the years, of other similar things.

Wrong date stamp, no date stamp and backwards date stamps.

There are also a few cases of Re-issues having date stamps from the 80's.

"Wrong date stamps" aren't wrong per se, the date is the year the mold was copyrighted, not necessarily the toy.

Did the Skywarp come loose or in a box?
