Hasbro has officially named it's new Licensing Chief. Simon Walters, formerly the senior vice president of licensing for The Walt Disney Company, will be heading up Hasbro's Licensing Division which is responsible for Hasbro's interaction with companies like Paramount.

This move occurred only a few short months after Hasbro Studios added two new executives.

Perhaps he will have a tighter control on Bay, in terms of the amount of sexual content for the Transformers movie. I have 9 year old daughter and it is sad that I can't allow her to see the last one without having to explaing a ton of stuff that she should not know about yet.

Possibly. If he's got previous experience with Walt Disney, and protecting their family friendly "image", he may go the same route for Hasbro.
