I just want to say one thing, keep this topic civil, no bashing of anybody just based on their sexuality.

This is meant as a friendly warning, should you have something against homosexuals don't post.

I personally like girls, though I did go through an experimental phase in college. I tend to take a 'Chasing Amy' view of love. Love often comes in a package you didn't expect, don't be afraid to find it. My best friend is gay. I think this topic is long overdue. Seibertron.com welcomes TF fans from all walks of life. I hope no gay fans would be afraid to post it here.

I know there's plenty of openly gay TF fans on the Allspark and the Wiki, so I wager there's probably some here as well.

(I suppose the fact that I have a girlfriend technically makes me bi, although I've never really been inclined towards dating women outside of my girlfriend.)

I may be a pretty unusual case. I'm not 100% straight, but not 100% gay either. It all depends on how I see myself.

It's simple really, I have a bi-gender mind, 50% male and 50% female. Physically I'm male, but my mannerisms are mostly female. This affects my personal portrayal on the net a bit: I feel uncomfy using anything male, so I use female or androgynous (if possible) avatars instead for interaction. You guessed it: I'm an online crossdresser :P

I still mostly like girls, mind you, but I do have friends online who crossdress or even had surgery done (yes, I did consider dating one). My wife is into such guys more than the regular ones, so she's perfectly fine with it.

I know someone else sorta like that to except they kinda like to dress it in person as well. I've met many of the like I at one time was a crossdresser but sort of just grew out of it because it just wasn't me anymore if that makes any sense. It was a self discovery sorta thing and a very interesting experience..considering a lot of guys thought I was a woman..I was very convencing lol. I was usually called mam in restaurants instead of sir at the time even though I lacked the chest.. I had an old straight man come onto me once. XD That was hilarious!

So its just online then and not a in person sort of thing? (I like your display btw, he was one of my favs in beast machines)

It's online only, yes, I don't feel the need to dress up like a girl in order to feel like one. I guess it's because I spent so much of my youth with girls, rather than with boys, that I feel more at home with women rather than with men (TF fans excepted of course). Of course, having a nick like JelZe doesn't help. To guys, it sounds girly, so they think I am one, even if the gender setting is "male"!

Well, being straight or gay is a question of who you're attracted to... which is separate from (related to, obviously, but still separate) from the question of what sex you feel you are.

(I say sex instead of gender because I've always felt gender was kind of stereotypical anyway. I have my fair share of both "feminine" and "masculine" traits--though probably more male ones, as I get mistaken for being a guy online frequently--and just behave like myself, really, without worrying about which set of stereotypes I fit.)

Lol It was that way for me as well. They think your name seems female? o.o I don't really get either vibe lol. I dunno..I've come along way into things so I'm not sure my views are the same as before except for being so much more open minded about stuff. I think its really cool though. x3

I think I would have to agree with that. So many people are into the whole well your only one sex, but I don't think that's entirely true. The natives believed that transsexuals had two souls though, I always thought that was interesting. I think people are way to much into what should be considered as male or female when they should just let people be who they are instead of judging them for what they aren't. Uniqueness should be allowed. x3 After all..we're supposed to be sentient beings. XD

Im a bi curious gal (haven't been with a chick yet).Im friends with a few GLBTIQ TF fans on-line (they don't post here). One of things I do outside of TF fandom is help out in the GLBTIQ community where I live. Im currently the secretary of the local social group and I also help out at a local group called diversity for same sex attracted youth. All in all there are fans of all kinds of fandom no matter what group you are apart of.

I like to say that I prefer men about 80% of the time, so I suppose that makes me straight. However, I feel that I wouldn't reject someone based solely on gender. And... well... I'm willing to try anything once. ;) I'm definitely an Ally, though-- I seem to have an unusually high number of LGBT friends. So, yeah, rock on, LGBTransfans.

What you're not a guy? :P

I was mistaken for a girl by a female poster on here when I first singed up, about a month and many violent anime suggestions later I was asked if I think Jazz was hot, all I could answer was that I don't as I'm not a gay guy - never heard of her since.

Who in their right mind would mistake YOU for a girl? That defies all logic.

Boggles the mind right?
But she's no loner a member here I think she requested her account to be deleted after finding out that her best girlfriend on here was actually a guy.

O_O That is just weird. I've had a few girls pretend to be a guy to try to get with me lol. The whole jazz is hot thing though totally reminded me of some artwork I seen that was...homosexual dealing with transformers. XD

You mean pretty much ALL fanart? Hahaha, but let's be fair-- there's maybe one "female" transformer to every twenty "males." Who are we SUPPOSED to ship?

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Could be worse... Starscream fan-girls.

Yeah, guilty. I think there's an unwritten rule somewhere that says if you're a Transformers fan-girl, you have to be obsessed with Starscream. I can say with all honesty that I got into the show because of Starscream. But we're not ALL crazy.
