General idea of proper attire for the Saturday Dinner?

Hey guys, I was hoping some of you BotCon vets would share your experience on the general attire for the Hall of Fame Celebration Dinner. I know the brochure says "smart casual (shirts with collars, no t-shirts)"...but I'd like to know what you usually see most people wearing. Jeans? Ties? Somewhere in between? I don't want to be overdressed, nor too casual.

I try to always dress decently for that thing, slacks and a button down shirt.

The dress "code" is always the same, but it doesn't stop people from walking in looking like total slobs. Wear whatever is comfortable to you, they're not going to stop you at the door.

Yeah, people really don't listen or don't care about the dress code. I didn't do the dinner last year because I was meeting family Sat nite, but I'd try and look decent for it. Jeans, IMO, are acceptable as long as you don't look like you just came outta some deathmatch. I'll prob just wear jeans and either a polo or nice print t-shirt. I've seen a lot o people in shorts though. But remember, it's also the first Transformers Hall of Fame.
