Well its 1am here (:| ... an I just finished my 5hr cake making process for my lil girl's TransFormers cake. I was checking my H.M.W. characters, an I decided to share my pics of the cake I made.
.
.
.
...lil back story... a year ago I let my little girl watch some of my old G1 TransFormers cartoons while our TV line was on the fritz.
...she was immediately hooked on them an ended up taking my set away from me so she could watch them all whenever she wanted. [-( An what was weirder, is that I think she likes G1 more than me when I was that age?! :???: lol

Well it didn’t take long for her to find her G1 favorite... which was Soundwave... don’t ask me why, but for some reason she thinks he is cute... lol.

Well I also made the mistake of letting her know that I had a box full of my old transformers, an that I had my old Soundwave... another mistake... soon she had a new toy  ... an since I missed mine  .. I decided to order her one of her very own. I got her the Toys-R-Us soundwave that comes with ravage an laserbeak... which by luck is her two fav cassettes for him... an to make her party a little bit nicer. I made her this...

…personally I think it needed a bit more work. But I think she will like it anyway.

…yawn..I cant hold my head up any longer... Ugh… time for bed. (:|

Nite all.
I-)

Awwwwwwwwwwwww. That has gotta be one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. I wich my parents would make a Soundwave cake. And she's right you know. Soundwave is cute. In his own evil Decepticon-ish spying blackmailing dispicable way. Now I want cake.........................

I saw the pictures and completely 'aww'ed.

You must be dead proud of yourself! Seriously. I think she'll love it, for sure!

Excellent, excellent work!

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments.

Well I thought she would enjoy it, but I honestly didn't feel it was THAT big of a deal, at least till I finished reading all of your comments here.

Now I kinda feel like superdad or something.

...But I tell ya what, I must have been really "REALLY" tired last night. As I never once even noticed that I had gotten the food coloring dye [ALL] over my face, arms, an hands...

...did you know when you wipe your face with even the smallest piece of food coloring dye on your hands it will make a large stain.
...ever wonder what a drop about the size of a pencil lead would make when you wipe your face when you wake up in the morning....
...atm I now sport a ...large... blue diagonal stripe on my face... the family coming to see her birthday will enjoy the miles they get out of it at my expense... .

..."looks in mirror"

Me and a friend did some photo shoots with red food colouring. It makes amazing fake blood. Really effective. Never underestimate the usefulness of food colouring!

Here's a heavily photoshopped version of what we came up with =P (Warning, possibly disturbing)

And lemme just say again: Awesome cake, Superdad!

You're GREAT dad not only for getting your child hooked on G1 TFs, but also staying up all night long to make her a special TF birthday cake! :o
