Hey all! I've been in love with Transformers since I can remember. My parents did well by supplying me with ample Transformers toys, cartoons, and other "stuff". I just found this site yesterday and only recently (within the last month or so) decided to get back into the Transformers universe. I still have most of my old toys from when I was a kid. all of them in "well played with condition" (as they deserve to be) The stickers are coming off, parts are missing, battle scars from various "can (insert transformers name here) really fly?" experiments. My Transformers were always on the battlefield and never on the shelf. lol I'm getting to the age that i might start a family in the next couple of years and I know I'm going to give my kid the awesome introduction to the Transformers universe that I was given. What an excellent story of Good :BOT: vs. Evil :CON: vs. EVERYTHING ELSE :KREMZEEK: .

For you "old-timers" I was 2 y/o in 1986. I barely remember the movie as I saw it then, but rest assured I've had it ever since and watch it at least once a month now. :D I grew up with G1 and G2 and will always love them more than any other generations. However, I do think that the new Transformers movies and toys are a great push in the right direction. They really bring me back to my childhood, which is something we all need a little more of. I'm looking forward to participating in the forums and various events here. Thanks for the awesome website, guys; see you in the forums!

Well welcome to Seibertron!! IDK how far you are from Orlando, but just an FYI, the yearly Transformers convention is there this year. I suggest if you are close enough to try and make the trip out. It's not often Botcon is close to one's home. It's at Disney. Go to Botcon.com to find out more info.

I'm actually moving to Navarre, FL which happens to be in the far NW corner of the state. so no Botcon for me this year. It is definitely going on my radar for next year, however. It looks like an absolute blast!

I'm and old head like you BTW. I went to my first botcon in 2007. I went originally for the toys, but since meeting a lot of my fellow collectors, I've been going back for crazy hijinx!! Stick around here and keep on postin. You'll get a feel for everyone. Most people post on the toy forums so don't be dispaired about the lack of response here. We are a good bunch.

So are you collecting? Since you are and older head, you know much about the Classics/Generations line? That's the line that is definitely my speed. It's updated versions of G1 characters. But now with the Generations title, they want to cover a more broader scope of TF lines. But keep an eye out on this. You may like it.
