Fans around the world has voted Dinobot as the 5th Inductee of Transformers Hall Of Fame.
Staff from Seibertron.com that attended the ceremony also mentioned that the Hall Of Fame will be an annual event at BotCon.
As for all of the inductees into Transformers Hall Of Fame, the characters will be permanent displayed at Hasbro Office at Rhode Island.

Outstanding! He was my pick for sure; he was, by far, the deepest character of all the ones listed.

I'm glad to have contributed for Dinobot .

Not that any of the G1 characters werent great, but Beast Wars reinvigorated the Transformers franchise and Dinobot was the most interesting character of them all, I thought at first he was gonna be a Starscream type character but he proved to be the most dynamic and well written, even his death was almost as sad as Prime's in the movie. Then to be return thru Dinobot II in the ending of the Nemesis trilogy episodes just made me love the character more. I'm glad my vote didnt go to waste.

So prospect for Botcon 2011 Rodimus Prime, Grimlock, Shockwave, Kup, Arcee, and Galvatron. I know that's six but im sure its gonna be anyone of them.

Betting on Rodimus Prime.

Wow... I honestly didn't see that one coming. I thought for sure Soundwave was gonna take it. I mean, I voted for Dinobot... but I still really thought Soundwave was gonna win.

I have to wonder if this signals a potential change in the collecetor's population. Those of us who remember G1 are really getting old (my birthday reminded me of that yesterday) and are beginning to be dominated by those who were brought in by Beast Wars and the newer series/movies.

Then again, the other characters were really not very developed. Dinobot's death may be one of the most iconic moments in Transformers lore. I admit, I actually still kinda tear up when I watch it.

I'm glad a non-G1 character won. No offense to the original series or anything, I just like to see the HoF including characters from all parts of the whole TF franchise, not just the classic ones we've seen dozens of times.

A noble induction for a noble character. Unexpected since you would have expected a G1 character but this is still a excellent choice.

Wow, I absolutely HATED beast wars, so this is quite a shock. Though I really don't get the point to these hall of Fame things, so guess it doesn't really matter.

WOW...they were all solid contenders, but, speaking as a die-hard G1 fan, the Beast Era needed to be represented in this first induction. Simply put, there wouldn't even BE a Hall of Fame, or a BotCon, or pretty much any of the stuff we TF fans take for granted if it weren't for "Beast Wars," so, on behalf of the Original Generation, congrats, Chopperface, on a well-deserved induction.

I actually had voted for Grimlock, but still think Dinobot deserved it just as much.

They all deserve it, but the plan was always for several big fan sites (including seibertron.com) to pick a character for nomination. Those nominations were the choices of Hasbro's pole, the winner of which would have been given the "Fan's Choice" entry into the HOF.

I agree. Love the line or hate it, it was BW that allowed Transformers to become what it now is. It would have been unfair to have this acknowledged in the HOF.
