Need help with G1 Prime repair
Posted: Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:28 pmSo I decided to try and restore my original G1 Prime figure to pre-played with status....or as close as someone with NO experience could possibly get it and I need some help from someone out there who's got some experience with that type of work. I would like to know what kind of paint I should get to "re-chrome" the grill, legs and leg cylinders. Also what the best (color matching wise) paint would be for the feet and metal part of the cab (that the windshield is attached to). I'm gonna get replacement smokestacks and sticker sheets for the labels. I just really need some direction for the paints and such. Any info is greatly appreciated but please be aware I have NO prior experience in paints or any kind of restoration so try and dumb down your answers as much as possible for me. Thanks!
