Optimus Prime in the NFL???
Posted: Wed Aug 11, 2010 7:40 amI came across an article at SI.com that I thought was pretty interesting. The article reaffirmed for me the importance of the Transformers brand and how it continues to have a large impact in society.

The reporter compared Brandon Graham to a "squatter version of Optimus Prime." Who'd a thought that Optimus Prime would be an early candidate for the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year? Let's also not forget that Detroit's Calvin Johnson is known as Megatron. Are there any other NFL players that can be appropriately compared to Transformers?
