Here are Transformers shows that will never ever see the light of day to licening and others being in legal limbo.

Transformers Energon
Transformers Cybertron
Transformers RiD
Transformers The Headmasters
Remake of classic G1 DVD Box Sets
Transformers Super God Master Force
Transformers Victory

Energon and Cybertron have been out 2 or 3 years now and are owned bye Paramount so you know them 2 will never be on DVD Box Set like Armada was. RiD is owned bye Disney or something dont really know since it has been eons since I last saw but I do remember it only had about 26 episodes. As on the classic G1 remakes Sony was suppose to be re-doing them but since there animation department got shot down that means these will once again be up in the air and in constant legal limbo until someone buys the rights to it. And you know how slow Paramount is on DVD;s so dont expect any Box Sets on Energon or Cybertron. As for the others I do not no since most of them are Japanese only but I have my fingers crossed for a US remake. But I still think that Rhino should own all rights to all the Transformers Cartoons and Movies at least then it wouldnt be so screwed up and everything be in such a mess as it is now. :-x

Headmasters, Masterforce, and Vicotry, were released in the UK. If you get a region free DVD player, you can watch them. However, I don't know if the colour is off due to PAL vs what we have(dtts?) over here.

Anyone have any input on these from Metrodome?

I would pay $300 US for G1, Headmasters, Vistory and Zone all in region 1 in a gorgeous set.

Alas, it will never happen.

Im pretty pissed Headmasters won't come out on dvd, I've only seen a few episodes (was it ever dubbed over in English, because the subtitled version I saw was awesome. I'd rather it be in all Japanese)

As far as the Gen 1 boxsets, I own up to Season 2 Pt. 2 of the boxsets (the metallic ones that go for $50-100 on amazon) I just need Season 3, Season 4 and Season 5. However I didnt like many of the episodes that came after the movie. I've always seen the movie as the final chapter of Transformers.

Havent seen seen any Master Force or Victory, but I'll assume they're amazing.

This is why I hate my self so much. When it comes to music (especially) I get very anal about owning a hard copy. Im starting to be like that for movies / tv shows as well. :-(

The quality is so much better, but YouTube is the next best thing, even if you can't find the episodes online.

I'm just waiting for the G1 Season one re-release. That's the only season I don't have on DVD, although I've seen every episode of Season 1 on Youtube. I just need a Multiregion Player so then I can watch Headmasters, Victory, & Masterforce.

Madman is a Australian company that releases the TF and Beast Wars dvds in Australia and New Zealand. Have gotten some really good exclusives on our dvds too.

What are you basing that on, exactly?

You Americans can buy a region-free DVD player at Target for around 50 bucks and not have to worry about the whole Region 2 thing. The Metrodome sets work perfectly on them.

Thats one of the reasons I stopped buying transformer toys. I never cared for anything aside from G1 (some of G2) and some of the reiussues. I have so many, and I cant commit to my collection. I dont think Im going to ever sell it but music has been something that I've been persuing a lot more.
