Transformers Sword Stainless Steel

Because of the lack of response in the Kitbash forum, (possibly because Transtopia still has not been assimilated), I decided to post in GD for more exposure. I would really like to know what people think of this sword. Should I make another? Should I add anything to it? Is it worth looking at? Would someone want to own one besides me? Let me know. This is not 100% finished. It still needs some obvious polishing and some small modifications, but it's mostly complete. 34 inches total length. 24inch blade.

This is weird. I was just thinking of designing a Keyblade that I could use for Megatron & Prime, w/the Decepticon & Autobot symbols as the the bases of the sword. This is just about what I had in mind, only w/the Autobot nose being the actual handle for the sword.

Who ever taught you the metal working skills is to be commended. Your skills are artistic. There are guys who
replicate specs, which isn't negative. Others who expand.
Do fabrication as a career and a hobby.

Idea.The decept bit,try a matted black edge. Maybe a mix of a
european,japanese design? It's you. Yes,make another.

When the time comes, would like a custom done. Autobot/grim inspired. It'll compliment the generation transformers. Good
grade material.

Thanks for the Compliments. My skills are self-taught. From metal working to welding. My art is a gift I never took any art classes in school, I just do. It feels sort of like magic; when I build, draw, paint or write it seems to just flow out of my fingertips.
I really don't like my job. I wish I could find a job where my talents are needed and appreciated. I'm tired of wasting all my time building machinery that no one ever sees and no one knows what I'm talking about when I describe it. We aren't even allowed to take pictures of the things we build for fear we might somehow use the pictures to start our own company. I'm tired of being nothing more than a servant taking orders all day. bitch bitch bitch.

Howdy,Life is........ . Amidst the job change. Going a bit schizo from the above.Starting up a custom art/bike trailer gallery. Craftmanship is wow. Got a knack. Very mechanically
gifted, creativity slightly hindered? Don't know where home base
is,but....... Would like to offer a part of the gallery to ya.
I'm in toronto. I'm tired of bits as well. An option. I don't
know how things go in the site, they know how to contact. Win,win. Gremlin.

You starting a gallery or an online gallery? You want to showcase some or all of my stuff? Do you do custom bicycles or motorcycles. I have a couple of bicycle/tricycles I've been tinkering with, but nothing finished. I also have another sword and some other weapons and armour along with many other miniature metal animal and insect statues. All together including metalworks, paintings, verse and sketches there is over a hundred. I also did some Native American painting on cow skulls as a kid, (I'm 1/16 Cherokee). Anyway, let me know. I'm taking a little vacation to St Louis, Missouri this weekend to clear my head and visit relatives. It's where I was born. I think it may help my outlook on things. I'll probably put in my notice at work when I return. I've already got an idea for a new painting and maybe when I get home I'll have the inspiration to do it.
As for Halloween this year, if I can get an Optimus helmut on sale and finish my TF sheild I'll be good to go. :BOT: :CON: :HEADHURTS: :BANG_HEAD:

Almost perfect... almost completely perfect. Throw in some inlaying for a little color, maybe put a pattern on the blade itself, and there you go! A sword worthy of Vector Prime himself.

Wrong fandom. We need something more Transformers-related than that.

Well, I suppose I can settle for it being an "Instrument of Destruction".

True that, homeslice. Now all we need is a costume to go with it and we're set for some serious cosplay.

Well, I'll leave that up to you since I'm not much for making costumes. And now I'm going to get ready for the weekend and probably wake up on a roof somewhere.

I can't make much of anything. Somebody else would have to make a costume.

Took a little vacation. I'm back. Saw the Prime helmet. Looks like it will go nicely with the sword and sheild I have. All I need to comeplete the costume is to finish my chestplate and paint it to look like Primes'. I'll have my own stainless steel, armor/costume.
I love the idea about possibly brazing some copper onto the hilt for some color. I was originally going to put some "Energon Flames" the length of the blade, but decided against it. Any ideas on what I should put on the blade? Aside from "Transformers" I can't think of anything.
Sweet bike Grem! can't wait to see the fin prod. your welcome to send me a private message anytime.

Thanks Gestalt that's the best idea I've heard or thought of. I think I will. I finally finished the buffing and polishing 2 weeks ago. I'm married with kids. Projects are measured in decades now. peace.
