Beachcomber (g1), quite possibly has the worst stats for a tf. 3 str, 1 firepower. ouch

Scriptwise, Jetfire was prone to going down with little damage, whilst Silverbolt was afraid of heights, if I recall correctly, underpowering both of them massively for the Autobots need for them.

Silverstreaks quote was the first (I think) that did not function as a proper motto should. Combined with the statement that he talks incessantly, it lowered him as warrior material in my eyes back then, underpowering him by making him a potential nuisance.

Budiansky seemed sometimes to have a thing with Autobot flyers, tho he was magically gifted with the Autbot cars. Altho Powerglide had the handicap of getting overwhelmed unless he was cautious, this was logical, yet even Dinobot:Swoop had a specific mention that wing injuries could take him out of the fight.

Soundwave had serets even from Megatron, which overpowered him, but in a good way,balancing him out and making Starscreams plans to topple Megz even more short lived.


Megzy's techspec stated "no known weakness". That's about as overpowered as can be done.
