Was looking at Straxus/Darkmount today and found myself wondering - "what would this 'Con sound like"?

When I was younger and collected the comic, Straxus sounded like an angry Destro.

Now I hear Straxus/Darkmount sounding like a bitchy Andy Dick.


Just wondering what you think Straxus/Darkmount should sound like. What actor would best fit the part?

Funny you mention Destro as I imagine Marvel Thunderwing to sound like him.

I will always hear Welker when I read G1 Megatron but Overlord I can imagine with Movie Megatron's voice.

As for Straxus, Apocolypse from the 90's X-Men cartoon or maybe Beast Wars Rampage.

Anyone else imagine Death's Head to sound like S-s-slithe from Thundercats, Yes?

Maybe like General Grievous (Especially from Star Wars: The Clone Wars)

Straxus: Uurgh!! (smashes the droids head with his pickaxe)

Actually, Grievous does seem a good choice.

Straxus coincidentally looks like what I imagined Dr. Claw to look like (compare Straxus's face to the M.A.D. logo and his arm to Dr. Claws) before I found out that Dr. Claw is.... not at all a giant robot humanoid cat. So I use Dr. Claw's voice for Straxus.
