Is that true that some of the sweeps have facial hair?

They have metal beards, as it's impossible for robots to have facial hair. Lot of fans don't like the beard thing, but m'self, I think it's kinda quirky.

alpha trion sported the metal beard and stache, but wrek-gar's fu man chu was totaly hair like.

As I recall in "Feral Scream Part 2", at the end, Cheetor brushes his goatee, & it sure didn't stay still like metal would. I guess the organic bots from BW/BM can have hair..........

I think Wreck-Gars and Cheetor's were more of a synthetic material, most likely.

Well, if he reformatted/upgraded over time - which, judging by his change from A-3 to Alpha Trion, he'd have had to - that might have something to do with it.

Seekers are now sporting such cute little goatees.

Oh, and our little Bumblebee just grew his very first goatee, BTW. He's growing up fast!

The goatee was, to me, a chin. Never thought of it as Hair. But The junkions, they need to shave. Anyone remember the "Ask Vector Prime" question, "Do you shave yor moustache?" HAHA! Priceless.

Personally, I like the facial hair, or the resemblance thereof. It gives them character. Also it gives variety to the Transformers' faces.

I agree with that it gives their facial structures better features, Wreckgars look like a fake hair though. Cheetor on the other hand might be kinda organic. Maybe he skinned a tiger, or a horse, and used its hair for his Goatee

It's possible that beards are a status symbol of being a respected elder on Cybertron, so he had one installed when he was upgraded.

I agree. It looks great on Scourge, but on Wreck-Gar...ick.

Guess they wanted him to look like a catfish or something.

Alpha Trion reminds me of Man-At-Arms from Masters of the Universe...
