Ok so my son and I were forced to a community yard sale this past weekend. And we were on the look out for any and all transformers to add to our ever growing collection (300 plus and growing). We came across this guy who had table upon table of MISB Star Wars, Ben Ten and he has a couple of blankets laid out with MISB Marvel super heros.

Well he has about 5 large plastic totes filled with Star Wars, GI Joe, and on & on. We we start digging and we see a minature Ultra Magnus, dig some more a minature G1 Optimus, minature Megatron & Arcee as well as a minature Alt Mode G1 Optimus all for $0.50 each.

Well after all was said and done we came away with what we now know are Takara 2003 Myclone's, Animated Wreck Garr MISB,10th aniversary Cheetor, Armada Six Shot, Armada Nemesis Prime , 3 ROTF Series 2 Robot Heros Optimus Batle Blades, Blackout, & Bee.

All of this set us back $9.25 Not bad for a days worth of being dragged along (thanks Honey). Well this was our first time looking for Transformers at yard sales but it will not be our last.

Yeah, just a few weeks ago I scored a complete Beast Wars Megatron in excellent shape for a dollar. I have found many a Transformer at yard sales. Once in a blue moon you get lucky and hit the jackpot like likwid here.

I found Animated Wreck Gar last month at T.J Maxx for only 12.00. Not as good as your deal. Hope you grow your collection more, as I am (700+ and growing)

I lost count somewhere after 700. I need to recatalog and sort my collection.

I've yet to have luck with yard sales.

i have pretty good yard sales, around here kids get the TFs and get rid of them at a very young age. i drive by the yard sales before i actually stop and look. i got parts for TFs, and my cousin got HA BB at one not too long ago, all the parts but no missile, but we could care less about the missiles to some TFs

Ah yes..That was a good day indeed.. I still have all of the items btw.. That lady never had another yard sale and I feel wierd walking up to her door and asking to see the toys again I have my limits
