I have a Kickstarter project about 1980s Toys

I've been scouring flea markers, thrift stores, and private collections for the past couple years and shoot toy portraits of what I found. I look for the beat down toys, those missing paint, limbs, and relegated to .50 cent bins and then shoot macro images of their faces. Right now I'm raising funding to publish a book of the photos, including some Transformers images. If you think it's interesting, please spread the word!

Well, that's cool and all, but what's the project? Are you restoring them? If so, that's good buisiness, you could be a transformers restoration guy. If it's just a book though, IDK What to think.

It's an art project celebrating older toys in the shape I find them. Shooting them up-close in a macro format brings out details that are easy to miss. It's something that really made me appreciate the artistry behind the figures. I've shot over 550 toys so far and I'm posting a new image each day.

Oh, well ok then! I still think that somewere out there there should be a TF Repair man, for those who can't replace the whole figures, ya know? That would be good, honest money, Id'e do it, but I dont have the skills...

Anyway, as a fellow artist, I do see your standpoint, and I guess a scrapbook of TF Stuff we didnt seldom notice would be pretty cool. A nice piece of fan work for people to enjoy.

I really like this idea, I think the finished project is going to be really heartwarming for a lot of people :3

Not to be a dick though, but you said you were taking pictures of older toys... and isn't that Warpath like, a few months recent? >:oP

Warpath isn't in the book. I'm posting all the pictures I shot, and the book is only going to have 1980s toys.
