If it was the Maya software that was being auctioned I might buy it, but not a Maya softeware-made model.

Why would you buy that? Now I'm not exactly the most computer smart person but it just seems like a 3D model of Megs. Woo. I can see that on my PS2 game. I must be missing something out of this.

It is a nice model of Megatron, tweaked so as to be able to transform into Gun mode.
In that respect it is very nice.
But Maya is not exactly a user friendly program, it takes months to start to understand the intricacies of the program.
As nice as the model is, once you have had enough time with the program, and as long as you have a decent amount of patience most people could probably create their own versions.
It just isnt worth anywhere near that amount of money for what it is, no matter how many hours went into creating it.

Tchaaaa...............no. Who in their right mind would pay over $300 for a model that you can't even hold in your hands? Not me. If you don't mind, I'd rather spend $4000 on a ginat Optimus Prime you could probably get on top of for a pic opportunity.
