Hi guys!
I am working a putting together a Transformers party for my soon to be 5 year old son. I want a 1980's cartoon inspired party that isn't just store bought plates,ect. Thanks to your forum I learned about the 1986 movie and tube-ed it so I could brain storm on ideas for games/food ect. Here are some of my thoughts on party stuff and would love some input from the "experts" on the subject. It will be an indoor/outdoor party.

Decor
Red and blue streamers and balloons
Large wall transformer stickers in playroom labeled with cute sign for "Autobot city" where games will be played
Cute red/blue banner labeling bounce house as "moonbase #1"
Name for Kitchen ??

Games

Battle Blast - tie balloons to children's legs and have them pop their opponents balloons. use blue and black balloons.

Remote control car races - ? cute name?

2 teams build a robot out of boxes of various sizes wrapped in red/silver/blue paper then have teams toss bean bags at opposing robot. cute name???

Food

Swoop's Scoops - chips
Grimlocks's Gravy - Dip
Energon cubes - mini sandwiches
cupcakes - look out mountain?
ice cream - matrix mix ?
???

All ideas are much appreciated!

The only thing I could think of, was to mix up some red/pink jelly/jello in an ice tray to make near perfect edible squares and use them as Energon cubes.

..just add candles!

As for the names:

- Racing = The Iacon 5000 (Not 80s, I know, but you could sneak it in!)
- Boxing = Pits of Kaon? (a bit too crude for kids, I guess.. something gladiatorial or Demolition Derby?)
