Fans of the 1986 Transformers Movie will be getting a little treat in the New Year. According to the
Transformers Collectors Club, issue #43 of the TCC Magazine which kicks off the 2012 club comic story "A Flash Forward" will include a four page intro which fits into the 1986 Transformers Movie. The new scene is written by G1 Story Editor Flint Dille with art by Dan Khanna.

I can't think of any writer/artist team better suited to the job. 'Bout time we saw more TF stuff from Flint than DVD extras and commentary.
If this implies that Botcon 2012's going to have a TFTM theme, I suppose we can look forward to a legion of Junkions, right? Possibly including a sleek, sexy, rust-colored deco for TF:Prime Arcee? And maybe even Animated Samurai Prowl to simulate that one Samurai Junkion? (That was one Animated mold they didn't use this year, right?)

The junkions are more than doable. I even remember the club tweeting this very possibility earlier this year. However I wouldn't count on any TF Prime molds this year as both Hasbro and Takara are currently using them. The club can only use molds that are not in use by either company.
