I just received an email from Stan Bush regarding his new album and his appearance next week at BotCon. Here's what he had to say ...

To all those who dare to believe,

My new studio album "IN THIS LIFE" (+2 bonus Transformers tracks) is available for pre-order at http://www.stanbush.com

I'm working on some other distribution methods as well, but this is your chance to purchase the album direct from the source!

Here are a couple snippets from reviews of IN THIS LIFE... and these are from the European release, they didn't even have the two bonus Transformers tracks on them!

Andrew McNeice of Melodicrock.com rated my newest album a 96% "Must Buy" and states that it has the potential to score the coveted "album of the year" award!

Juha Harjula of Melodic.net gives the album an excellent 4 star rating and says, "...Stan Bush is back with a brand new album and he is hungry as ever."

For those that are attending Hasbro's Botcon I will be doing a couple panels, autograph sessions, and even a fully plugged performance at the awards show! I will also have a dealer table setup and will be selling my newest album and other memorabilia as well. So come on by, and pick something up to be signed. Check out my Botcon page here:

I look forward to meeting all of you, and TIL ALL ARE ONE!

All the best,
Stan

Is he going to let me sing with him on camera during the autograph session?

My sources are saying, no.

Thanks mr. Bush, you just made a point to download those from torrent -A European fan :P

BTW, if I can found the american album anywhere I'd buy that.

Please don't download it from BitTorrent. That's a terrible thing to say especially when Stan is a regular viewer of this site. He's a great guy and has worked very closely with sites such as Seibertron.com. I hope you will pay him some respect and help support Stan by purchasing his album.

Woo hoo! I can't wait! I can finally get some of Stan's other albums and his autograph! On top of that we get a fully plugged concert! I believe this is a first for Botcon (when he performed in 1997 it turned out to be an unplugged performance, which was still cool). I wasn't there in 97 (have the concert vhs), so I'm glad I finally get to see one of my favorite musicians live and in person!

Okay, that was just a joke. I hate it when we, europeans got left out from the best things. BotCon figures, the best titaniums...

The most possible thing I will do is to ask one of my friends to include an american version of the cd in the next lot we receive. I like Stans music.

But it is available in Europe. You can buy it directly from Amazon.co.uk. I provided the link above.

On that note, I just purchased Stan's album along with the movie soundtracks for both movies as well as IDW's "Ark" book with the artwork from the cartoon series. Can't wait!

But as Stan pointed out, we don't have the 2 extra tracks... :-(

I'll be buying a CD at Botcon and having it signed.

This may work out, the first Hasbro tour happens the same time he does his panel, so since I did not get into the tour :-x , the line to get his autograph may be shorter. :)

Stan Bush is really great and one of my favorites, I can't wait to buy his new CD. But it will have to be with the Transformers theme he made, of course. I've heard it on his MySpace page and I can't believe it isn't the one on the movie. This is an excelent song and in my opinion much better than what I've heard so far from the movie soundtrack, which I didn't even like. In fact, what I most like from the original Transformers movie is Stan Bush songs plus White Lion's version of the Transformers theme. Now, those 3 songs are something! Stan, you've got the touch! :) I don't even care for the songs on the movie, this is the movie's theme. It doesn't have to be on the movie, it's us the fans who decide it. I'd love to see Stan performing here in Portugal :) .

And I apologize ... I overlooked Stan saying that and misunderstood what your original message was. I thought you were saying you were going to download the entire album on BitTorrent.

In the words of Optimus Prime and the Thing: "My Bad".

Yeah, I'm missing his first panel because of the tour. Thankfully he is doing a second panel on Sunday. As far as autographs, I bet he'll even sign stuff from his booth even when it is not "autograph time." I couldn't see him refusing anybody.
