Cybcon has unveiled this year’s exclusive figure: Spider-man Versus Megatron
Image

The statue was handcrafted by Zobovor, who did the first few exclusives for Cybcon. The design is based on the cover from the Transformers vs Spiderman comic book crossover. It's production run is limited to one piece and will be made available only through an open auction. The piece celebrates this year's two blockbusters.

Cybcon will be on Saturday, July 14th, 2007, from 10am to 5pm in Tacoma Washington. There is one week left to register. Click here for more info.

Are those two existing figures that have just been posed and repainted? Or was it actually sculpted from scratch?

From what I was told by one of the Cybcon members is that the sculpture was designed recently. I am not sure if the bases are attached.

It was kitbashed using HoC Megatron, an unknown Spider-Man figurine, and a lot of love. The bases are attached to each other.

Megs is either really small or Spider-Man is HUGE

Would be cool if Megs and Spidey were in better proportion

The best part of this very cool exclusive is thanks to Hasbro making Titaniums for everything now, and SM3 offering many black suit shelf warmers, we can all paint a HoC Megatron and have this ourselves!

Oh, and did Spider-Man break his leg?

Look at it.
