could a modern day TF survive in Beast era conditions?

anyone ever wonder what would happen if a single Cybertonian, Say for example, optimus or megatron, (or any movie-verse TF you may like) found himself stranded on a planet of Beast-TF's? with no way to go home, how would he survive? or would he end up dead/eaten/mutilated bvy the beast-bots?

of course, any good TF beast planet would have these "wild aniamls"

Dino-bots (like Grimlock and others)
Insecticons
Sharkicons
Arachno-cons (like Black Arachnia)
Rhino-bots (like Rhinox)
Dragon-bots (like any dragon based TF)
Bird-bots (like laserbeak)
Scorpian-cons (like scorponok)
and TF versions of every wild animal you can think of.

the planet would look like a huge rainforest with massive oceans.
kinda like the jungle planet in TF cybertron series, but alot less civilized.
with all this in mind, would a movieverse TF survive on his or her own?

I think as long as said TF has some form of shelter (broken space-ship?) and weapons I think he could last long enough to be found. Besides, the Beasts were much smaller than a regular-size TF, be it G1 or Bayverse. It would take a lot of them to get a normal TF.

If you're talking about a TF getting stranded on Earth during the Beast Wars, that's a little different. These TFs have weapons and (the Decepticons, anyway) they're aggressive. They will attack without provocation and can defend themselves better. A regular TF probably wouldn't last long without a strong defensive HQ, weapons and armor.

Gotta remember, TFs are a race of Mimics with totally different protocols to us. They see most non metallic worlds as soft, not hard and cold. An organic jungle would be like a rubber playroom to them.

A Modern day TF, in particular, who can scan-and-select any Altmode at any time, would blend in immediately upon planetfall- adopting the forms of any and all grazers it finds to harvest Energon (if and when it needs to) and adopting the forms of anything hunting it the moment it is being hunted.
(We don't see modern TFs do this because they have to register their forms under Earth Governments but consider: 500 scraplets attack Bulkhead; Bulkhead scans one of them and then Transforms into a Scraplet. Result: A whale feeding on Plankton).

Alternatively, a stranded TF could mimic a tree, mineral deposit (that is, nesting ground) or even a cave or other microcosm. In the example of a tree, it could synthesize the scent of flowers (or the TF equivalent) to attract 'little minions' that it could then try to learn how to eventually control. This could help the stranded bot remain camouflaged and yet still assemble materials it might need to build emergency homing beacons and the like (tho some modern TFs can sometimes Space Bridge to safety anyway).

Older gen TFs swap out their scan-to-mimic capabilities for sealed external armor and a fixed Altmode but they are tougher to hurt (G1 Sunstreaker was artillery resistant, G1 Megatron had no known weakness). These bots, if killed near enough to their mother ship, could be rebuilt by the ships Teletraan equivalent, after which they would have very excellent survival possibilities in native forms.

I don't completely agree with the guy above.

Sure, modern TF like the Movie TF can scan to be many things, but the character who got stranded should have "chameleon" as a special talent like DotM Lazerbeak to be THIS effective.

The modern TF Still have a fixed mass and some basic body characteristics that he have to keep in mind while scanning an altform. That why Optimus Prime chosed to scan a truck while Starscream chosed to scan a jet.

In my headcanon, if a modern TF get stranded in say, the BW planet, he'll be ginormous compared to the rest. That a plus for power, but a flaw from hiding. Then, if he don't and cannot have a flight mode, he'll have no choice to scan a beast mode to be more effective. The scanning would be much easier to do if he encounter local TF that do have beast modes.

However, even with the other's help, the only beast mode he should be able to acheave will be mechanical looking. Like the Dinobots or classic/Prime Insecticons or even Ravage. Also, that altmode will be way out of scale. Still, the newfound powers and abileties of such an altmode would be enough.

As for sustenance, he will NEVER be able to eat and digest organic matter like the others. However, the world is ro full of energon, just standing there will be enough for him to feed.

Depending on the TF allegance and personality, he'll end up being a :MAXIMAL: or :PREDACON: . If he's a bad guy, his power and size will almost guarantee him leadership.

So, tl;dr, yes, a modern TF will have big chances of survival. Remember that TF will surely be a war veteran, trained to survive in any situations.
