So,

I know Petitions don't work. I don't care. I also don't care if the Dinobots are phased out because I know they will reappear as Classics later (and Takara might not even stop making them in the first place).
In fact, I'm not even sure the ppl running Hasbro have been in their right minds about how to capitalize on TFs lately anyway, and if that's offensive-well, I'm a Transformers fan, not a Hasbro fan.

This is a page for people to send ideas to Hasbro regarding what could be done with the Dinobots before they're phased out just because. I'm not going to recompile it all and EMail it anywhere. I'm not going to demand intellectual property payments if they use anything. I'm not going to cry if they don't. I'm just going to start this thread.

So, Hasbro:
Hello.

Why don't you try another Dinobot-only Beast Wars type show and Toyline before you decide the Dinobots can't make you anymore money? Not Consider trying, just TRY. Beast Wars made you money, right? Dinobots made you money, right? Animated made you money, right? Then you axed it? Why not make 1 season of a Dino-Wars (or whatever) show before you axe the whole tangent?

In case you want to know: i STRONGLY RECOMMEND NO mEGATRON AND NO oPTIMUS. i ALSO STRONGLY RECOMMEND no tiny cast because Power Rangers, Thundercats, Ninja Turdles, Voltron and everybody else is already doing that. It's old. Actually, it's kinda logical that you won't make much moolah if you've only got 4 heroes & 4 BADDIES to sell.

(By the way, if your demographic ppl haven't told you yet that little kids won't get bought the latest Optimus and Bumblebee cuz they already got bought the previous ones, fire them.If they DID tell you and you didn't listen...fire yourselves?).

Oh, I suggest a new writing team, just to make sure the story is, like, not written by people who feel they have a cozy guaranteed career with you but are actually sweating as to whether or not you'll approve of the end result.

That's all. Thanks for the very cool advances in TF toy technology since G1. I love it and I'm sure my Son will too when he's a little older.

Have a nice day, sincerely. If you feel offended I'm pretty sure some witty posts will follow satirizing mine & vindicating yuz all. Enjoy them

I seriously doubt Hasbro is "phasing out" the Dinobots, especially after:

all happened in the last 5 years alone. I can't imagine them phasing ANYONE out, especially ridiculously popular TFs, for any reason.
If anything, they want a thought-out reason for the Dinobots to be Dinosaurs instead of "just because." And the team behind FoC have almost certainly have been throwing stuff in "just because."

I agree the dinobots are here to stay.

No arguments. Just going on what I read around the site lately ( to the effect of that it's "Not the direction Hasbro wants to go"). I figured everyone's gonna organize a hobby rally once. Decided I may as well do it now. Dinobots have definitely made me extremely happy several times over in my life. It's worth rallying for them (to me) even if they're not in danger of extinction.
