If you could write a plot for a transformers TV cartoon series what would it be about?

For me it would be a new separate group of Autobots and Decepticons being stranded on a foreign lifeless planet and having to face an ancient evil that's trying to kill them and invade the entire universe and by ancient evil I mean a strange entity that spawns animal like Transformers(like rabid beasts that eat anything), also spawning a few sentient Transformers that act as the primary villains and subordinants of the ancient evil, and absorbs organic and inorganic beings.
I'd like this esspecially if both Cons and Bots were trying to contact Optimus and Megatron but couldn't make contact and a Decepticon ended up being both the voice of reason and their leader and they ultimately had to forge a new name and symbol for themselves to stop fighting between Bots and Cons and durring their adventures have conversations like "So what were you doing before the war?" "Where were you stationed in the battle of...?" "Who was was your training officer?".
What would your plot line be about?

I'd write about the planet-key planets from the Unicron Trilogy (Speed planet, Jungle Planet, Giant PLanet) tho first I'd make up a few more (eg Night Planet, Planet of Sunlight, maybe Ocean or Swamp and I'd also write in Junkion).
I'd start common memory at the time of the closing of the Key-gates, with an emergency Council held on Cybertron first giving every one planet a LOCAL Matrix of leadership to be smuggled back home (all would answer to THE Autobot Matrix of Leadership). Each planet would have its' own Decep Dictator and the shutting down of the bridges would be an Autobot sabotage act intended to keep region specific Decepticons away from other worlds (so that armies of ultra fast Speed Planet Deceps can't be gotten to a planet full of slow bots, for instance, and instead are isolated from both Megatron and Shockwave and left to deal with angry Speed Planet Autobot Partisans).
Some planets I'd give a long list of dead sub-Primes (Speed Planet) and maybe one Matrix somewhere would be irrevocably destroyed (Junkion!). Elsewhere I'd have a No-Matrix-Worship tradition (Maybe Jungle planet).
The Jungle planet, I'd possibly have the Decepticon Dictator long since dead and perhaps a Tarantulas style local dictator using the old Decepticon facilities to run his own show.
I would try put G2 groups on some worlds and blend them in to the arising population remix (Illuminators, Head & Targetmasters & so on).
Then I'd need a unifying event, a Quest, a Harbinger to spark & organize the quest and a rough timeline to know when the finale would happen. There are heaps of options here so I wouldn't hurry deciding. Obviously, the entire shenanigan would be to benefit the Autobots as a whole.
The plot would be 'consistent' with WFC/FOC with homages to any and all other storylines.
EDIT: Afterthoughts:
*I wouldn't reveal any Minicons (except maybe one old, half rusted relic barely operational as a story driver) and wouldn't reactivate any gate Bridges. This is the Armada storyline, which, IF it happens, happens later.
*I wouldn't hesitate to replay the 1996 death and ressurection of Ultra Magnus on Junkion as a 'realtime event' (thereby confirming the Hot/Rodimus Prime backstory) PROVIDED the WFC/FOC positioning of Unicron allows me to do so.
*The NOW/THEN prelude used excellently by the TV show 'Supernatural' would allow me to take turns focusing on groups from different planets until they finally start to hook up into a single event flow-stream.

I'd steal a lot from Richard C. Hoagland for this plot.
The modern day Earth humans and transformers have learned that the humans have ancestors who long ago had built a solar system wide civilization.
Now the autobots and decepticons and thier human allies must fight to gain access to the solar system wide ruins. To use the science behind those ruins to either improve the lives of every human on Earth or create a society of rulers and slaves.
Some examples of the ancient ruins.
Metroplex is now a broken giant robot city now known by human conspiracy theorist as "the Face on Mars" and "D&M Pyramid."
Cybertron is now the asteroid belt.
Unicron is now the planet venus.
Primus is now the planet earth.
Here is what I consider a kicker. The transformers are built by the human ancestors who had the solar system wide civilization.

I'm thinking about making a 3d animation or a flash animation of this in the coming years, now nothing is sure yet, I have yet to find out what programs I'm going to work with in my IT course this year. Anyways here's a short summary of what my version of the story looks like:
Transformers: Cybertronian Chronicles
In the beginning of times, back when planet earth was but a speck of dust floating in the galaxy, there were 2 almighty beings: Unicron and Primus. The 2 brothers were bestowed upon great powers to help and create life in the galaxy. But one of the brothers, Unicron, wanted more, he wanted to be feared, to be in control of everything, to be worshipped as a god. And so started the war between the brothers, Primus believing everyone was equal, and Unicron believing that the weak should be ruled by the strong. In the millenia following, the brothers continued to thwart each other, Unicron destroying entire races, corrupting others. Whilst Primus did his best to save them and enlighten their paths. Primus, deciding to show Unicron that darkness will never prevail, made thirteen robotic beings. He called them Primes. They all had the ability to shift forms, to "transform". They were there to help Primus guard the universe from Unicron's corruption. But the Primes themselves were not completely resistant to Unicron's corruption... A few of the Primes started to betray one another and Unicron was even able to convince a Prime to join him, by luring him with promises of power. He corrupted the heart of that Prime, and so he became known to his brethren as "the Fallen". Unicron then continued corrupting the universe with his newly gained disciple and decided to thwart Primus' plans. He sent the Fallen to destroy his brethren one by one. And he succeeded until there were only eight of them left. Four of them decided to go into hiding in the vast expanses of space, never to be seen again. The remaining four decided to fight back the corruption, their own brother. Seeing his creations suffer and die, Primus got angered and decided to end it, once and for all. He confronted Unicron and his disciple and used up all but his very last of strength to take away his brother's powers and sealed him into a giant shifting life form,a transformer, he sent him to the furtest corner of the galaxy where he couldn't harm anyone. But power can't just dissappear... Unicron's corruption ,spread by the Fallen all over the galaxy, corrupted a select few, and thereby creating a delicate balance between good and evil. Primus then, left with but the last of his powers, made one last act of goodness. He created a huge planet to dwarf all the others and called it "Cybertron". His remaining four remaining Primes became the foundation of the robotic beings that were going to live there. The Cybertronians. Primus in his extremely weakened state, fused together with the core of the planet, thereby fusing his powers and knowledge with the core. A part of the power and knowledge was kept apart and stored in a relic known as "the matrix of leadership". It was given to the first leader of the cybertronians, one of the primes named Prima. Following the tradition, every new leader was given the matrix of leadership giving him the aid of all the data recorded by the past Primes. As millenia past on the civilization evolved from small warring tribes, to one united civilization. Their technology surpassed by none. The descendants of the Fallen, their urge for power to great, rallied together, and tried to take control of Cybertron. What followed is the great war waged between the descendants of the Fallen, now known as "Decepticons" and the descendants of the Primes, the "Autobots". Every faction their beliefs the same as their ancestors. The war raged on for millenia, many Cybertronians lost on both sides, many leaders felled. All the data recorded for millenia by their forefathers lost, the technology being destroyed. The then leader of the Decepticons "Malum Maximus" a powerful and ruthless commander, found out about the core of Cybertron, the power and knowledge that gives life to new generations of Cybetronians. He wanted to make that power his own and exploit it for his own good. He fought his way to through all the defenses and traps put up by Primus to protect himself. When he reached the core, Primus in a last attempt to save Cybertron stored the power and knowledge in a cube "the Allspark", which he launched into the far depths of space. He then put himself in a stasis mode, to protect himself from damage. Malum Maximus responded by designating Decepticons to find and retrieve it for him, they became known as "seekers". With the war still raging on for milennia later, the autobots found out about it's location. They built a huge vessel,"The Arc", to take them to the planet where it supposedly was, planet Earth. A big group of Autobots with it's current leader,"Optimus Prime" went onboard the vessel to start the search. But just as they had left Cybertron's atmosphere, they were attacked by Decepticon forces under the command of their current leader "Megatron". The crew piloting the Arc activated the hyperspace drive in a frantic attempt to escape. But the Arc, being severely damaged transported them directly to planet earth crash landing there. The Arc activated it's last line of defense, a stasis mode, even the crew got frozen in. Those were the early days of planet Earth. The stasis mode lifted millenia later, awaking the Autobots in the modern day. Still intent on finding the Allspark, they set of into the human world disguised and hidden in plain sight. Little did they know that the Decepticons have already landed here...

Like mortg I would with Cybertron's past, but I would go with the more recent past in G1 universe. I would have gone to period before the most recent great and deal with the rise of Megatron. I can imagine a period of peace before the great war where Autobots and Decepticons lived in peace, in fact most rivalries were between "northern" and "southern" Cybertronians (think "blue state" vs "red state" US but nastier). This peace is shattered by an alien invasion (Quintesson? or new group)that want exterminate all tfs. All of Cybertron is united under the new threat with current tfs (or younger versions) leader Alpha Trion, mysterious young military progidy Megatron, college professor Starscream, redneck Ironhide, Kup, an

that eventually becomes Soundwave (some future

are born

and vice versa) , and others tbd (nonimees include Blurr, Wheeljack, G1 Ratchet, and several new characters). Alpha Trion is stuck knowing via a propecy from the Matrix that Megatron (who will be more Damien Thorn/ Nicolae Carpathia than Anakin Skywalker) will one day cause a new war between

and

, but threat to all tfs is so grave that all tfs will exterminated if they lose, so he to counterbalance the charismatic Megatron. Megatron, being pure evil, uses the war for glory to get recruits for his future plans, but he needs to work with Alpha Trion for his and others survival. There is plenty of intragroup tension between notherners and southerners,

and

, etc, some started by Megatron himself. Also, I would explore the origins of several current quirks (Megatron v. and much older Starscream, why Omega Supreme is a

unlike other guardian. Orion Pax, who grew up around

(thus not fearing them) and

in melting pot Iacon, will appear fairly infrequently ,although occasionally showing signs of his future self, is totally ignored by Megatron. Final episode will be War Dawn see through Prime eyes.

A alternating storyline between a small

and

strike team who are fighting in the war and run into Iconic Transformers here and there who help them in various missions. The opposing squads would often cause scenarios that somehow affect they other team and vise-versa,but the two teams never meet.
I.E. Say the

squad finds a massive war cannon or something and accedently fire it. Now said laser beam or something flies across the horizon and blasts the

squad and splits the squad up for the episode. Now the

squad returns to whatever they were doing while the

squad tries to regroup.
