The big tank shown in bot mode, as well as the large prop-plane with the Bruticus-like head, were Hasbro's attempts at the military Alternators we heard rumors about a few years ago. I'm guessing we will never see these in the stores. Maybe one day as part of the Masterpiece line or a similar line in the future, but I doubt it. Very cool, and I'm sure all Alt and MP fans would have bought them, but I guess we'll just have to enjoy the pics and think about what might have been.
That Porshe WAS an early version of Alternator Jazz. It will not be released.
I like the RiD Defensor, too. Very cool.
Love Cosmos, Shockwave, and the rest of those cancelled Titaniums, except Arcee. While the car mode looks cool, I have to agree that the bot mode looks kinda dumb. However, since SO MANY fans want a G1 Arcee, I bet it would have sold well, anyway.
I also like the Blackout repainted as Movie Evac. I've read some dislike about the colors, specifically the orange, but since its a rescue helicopter, I think its fine. But when I buy this guy, I'm calling him Blades, which, I think, is a more appropriate name, since the Blackout mold is able to actually use the `copter blades as weapons.
Like the desert camo repaint of leader Brawl. Very, very cool. I like the Osprey in general, but if his hands stay rotors and don't transform into real hands, then I'll pass on him. Too bad, because he's very cool except for the rotor blade hands.
And finally, there is a slide called "3 Phase Marketing Strategy" and at the bottom right, under "Post Movie New Animation" it says, "More focus on core characters." So, since we've seen that there will probably only be 5 Autobots in the new cartoon, maybe the stories will allow for lots of character development.
Overall, I like what I see. Based on the various slides, it really looks like Hasbro is aware of the various male demographics that like Transformers; from 2 to 52, it really looks like Hasbro will be releasing TF toys for everyone. Cool.
