I managed to get volume 2 of the Dreamwave MTMTE guidebook before they went bust, but I haven't managed to get volume 1 of the book. Does anyone from here in the UK know if it's still available in a local (to them) bookstore, or a sci-fi/comic store that still has it? Or for that matter, if IDW will be reprinting it for us fans that missed it the first time?

Thanks :D

There are about 3 second hand copies on there, going from about £50 upwards. I'll get it from there if I can't manage to get it anywhere else, but I don't want to rush in and spend that sort of money, then a few weeks later I see it still in stock somewhere cheaper lol

Has anyone on here got a spare copy they'd be willing to sell me or trade with me, or know if you're local book store still has it? If you could get it for me and post it to me, then I'd pay you via paypal :)

Thanks again for the info Hotrod :)

What I just thought though, will it be the same profiles from the DW books, profiles from the IDW books, or a combination?

Any idea on publishing/release dates?

They will be just a reprint of DW's profiles with no new work. A release date has not been announced yet because IDW is trying determine the best way to publish them. The original idea was to release one huge book but it proved to be to expensive.

I've already got the Ultimate guide (one of my alltime favourite TF reference books :))

I suppose that IDW could do one of two things, either reprint the guide as seperate comic book issues, then collect them into two books, or just reprint the books.

If you hear anything about a release/publishing date Hotrod, or anyone else for that matter, could you please either post it here or send me a pm please?

Thanks :)
