I will be doing member interviews once a month, coordinated through our PM system. These interviews will consist of ~10 questions regarding Transformers, duh!
Since I don't know all of our members as much as I wish I did, I have a number of questions below that will help me out in the process. Members who will be interviewed will come from those who have posted in this thread, however just because you post in this thread does not guarantee an interview, as the selection comes down to me.
MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 400 Posts in the forums
- You have been a member of Seibertron.com for at least 12 months
- You must be in good standing in the forums (No warnings in the past 12 months)
Applicant Questions:
- Where are you from?
- How many Transformers toys do you own?
- Do you watch the cartoons?
- Do you read the comics?
- Who is your favorite Transformers character?
- What was the latest retail Transformers figure you purchased?

Sign up people, it's really fun and helps you look at your collections (toys, comics, art, bedsheets, swirly straws) in a new way!

I had barrels of fun doing it, and have to thank Blurrz again for the opportunity.

I love reading the interviews, I might as well contribute!
1. I am from Pennsylvania.
2. I have 325 Transformers.
3. I watch G1 (my favorite), Animated, and Prime.
4. I do not many of the comics. I own the entire All Hail Megatron and most of the Spotlight series. Love them.
5. My favorite character is probably Starscream. He is interesting because he is devious.
6. My last retail purchase was last night. I picked up Generations Blaster's cassettes.

Count me in.
1. Tampa, FL, United States
2. By now, I'm guessing it's passed the 400 mark (last time I actually attempted to count them all, I was near 400, but not quite there). Is there a site that has an easier way of counting them without having to just list them all one by one in an old-fashioned manner?
3. Every cartoon minus Beast Wars II (well, I have seen the first four episodes and its movie), Beast Wars Neo, the G2 reruns of G1, G1 season 5 (not a typo), the Japanese versions most English-language cartoons, and any yet-to-be released cartoons (as of this typing).
4. As of this typing, I'm currently on a mission to read as much print media for the Transformers as I can. Thus far I've read everything comic-wise from Marvel, Marvel UK, Fleetway, Blackthorne, 3H, Dreamwave, Panini, Devil's Due, and lots of the Japanese manga, story pages, and magazine material. Currently, I'm reading the Fun Publications fiction and some past IDW stuff, and will be moving more into the bigger IDW stuff eventually. The Titan UK comics, however, may be a bit harder to track down.
5. Favorite character... I have no favorite character. I have many. Far too many to list. But to give an idea, I'll summarize. I've always loved the entire cast of the Beast Wars cartoon. Marvel G1 made me love Ratchet. Animated had wonderful versions of Optimus Prime, Prowl, Bumblebee, Starscream, and many more. I loved Sky-Byte and Scourge in RiD. Cybertron's Starscream was amazing. TF: Prime gave us its own takes on Smokescreen, Arcee, Starscream, and Dreadwing. Sideways and Shockblast were the only characters from Armada and Energon, respectively, who struck me as interesting. Dreamwave's Armada comic had a great Sparkplug. Masterforce had a fantastic cast of characters, including Metalhawk, Diver, Ginrai, Overlord/Giga, Hydra, Buster, Wilder, Cancer, and more. Like Beast Wars, Rescue Bots' cast of characters is also equally likable as a whole. and DOTM Laserbeak was the best Movieverse character, period.
6. As of this typing, TF: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander class Trailcutter.

I'll play!
Minimum 400 Posts in the forums -

I guess I qualify.
Where are you from?I am from Raleigh, NC, and you will never find a more wretched hive of... well, actually, it's very nice here.
How many Transformers toys do you own?Raw count is somewhere over 3,000. I am approximately 50 toys away from completing the US run, if I had to guess (I have not counted my actual lacks for Botcon, SDCC, and random Movie toys that got skipped).
Do you watch the cartoons?I keep up with TF:Prime now, but initially I did not because it was really boring to me during S1. Usually, I watch the cartoons years after they end on DVD/etc.
Do you read the comics?I kept up with IDW religiously from the beginning, up until the Costa ongoing. I came back at the end of it for the Chaos arc and have read every month since then. MTMTE is basically the best TF comic I've ever read.
Who is your favorite Transformers character?Probably Grimlock, though that doesn't hold in all continuities. I like that the character usually doesn't seem to take itself too seriously - Grimlock grounds some of the rest of the universe in a reality of "hey, this is a story about sentient robots that fight each other". In some universes, such as IDW, I'd go with Ironhide as he fills that role.
What was the latest retail Transformers figure you purchased?Last figure actually bought at retail - Beast Hunters Shockwave
Last retail figure bought in general - The entirety of Beast Hunters Deluxe Wave 3 off Amazon.

Sure, why not? Could be a long wait, but I'm game!
Were Are You From?
Bellflower, California, two feet from Cerritos!
How Many Transformers do you own?
Roughly 100 or so, I'm a bit of a picky buyer, but I've been dying to complete my Prime cast! I'm about 8-9 figures short!
Do you watch the cartoons?
Yes, ive seen everything from G1 to were we are in Prime. The exceptions are the japanese exclusives and Rescue Bots.
Do you read the comics?
I have read some of the movie comics, but getting into the other stuff has proven difficult. I dont know a good place to start.
Who is your favorite Transformers character?
Animated Blitzwing. He's the Deadpool of Transformers and enhances every scene he's in, be it comedy, cruelty, or both, Blitzwing's your guy!
What was the latest retail Transformers figure you purchased?
"Long Sigh" PRID Airachnid. Instant buyers remorse...

Very well, I'll apply as well. Who wants to know more about Seibertron's resident businessman, Energon connoisseur, and master assassin?
*Where are you from? From the gentle coastline of North Carolina. Scenic views all day, everyday.
*How many Transformers toys do you own?As indicated by my signature, I currently own 167, excluding Mini-Cons from the Unicron Trilogy (though I may end up counting them shortly).
*Do you watch the cartoons? I'm a sucker for the cartoons. Started with
Robots in Disguise back when it was airing, but
Armada was the proverbial hook that got me into the realm of Transformers.
*Do you read the comics? If I could, I would, but I can't, since there are no comic book stores I know of around my city. I get any plot details from comics from ye olde TFWiki.
*Who is your favorite Transformers character? Honestly, anyone from the
Classics,
Universe,
Generations,
Henkei!, and
United lines I love: I'm a sucker for homages, similarly to our resident MasterSoundBlaster. But if I
really had to choose, I'd go with our favorite treacherous Air Commander, Starscream.
*What was the latest retail Transformers figure you purchased? The latest figures I've purchased as of this posting are both Autobot Data Disks packs, consisting of Rewind & Sunder and Eject & Ramhorn. Really love the humanoid ones, Sunder is a nice redeco, and Ramhorn is just straight-up adorable!

I thought I'd update everyone on this initiative.
Now that Blurrz has left, for personal reasons, the Seibertron staff, we are trying to continue interviews that will be enjoyed by the whole community. As such, the member/staff spotlights will be put on pause for the time being, though I will not scrap this list.
Keep your eyes peeled for some juicy interviews with.. other people coming up soon!
