I was going to jokingly say, "Who's second: Twiki?" but lo and behold...

Not much competition if you ask me. But way to represent, Prime!

Optimus Prime had to take first place because:
1) He's awesome.
And
2) He's the only one on the list that would kick their ass if he didn't make #1.

Nice to see a British robot in at #9! Marvin rocks all kinds of socks off!
No surprise that Prime got Numero Uno, seeing as he has out a feature length film and all. Wonder why other Transformers didnt make the list...

Aren't Daleks cretures insider robots, though?
Too bad Megaman isn't on there, even hough he's never been really one for TV.
w00t! Marvin and Bender made it!

Isn't Mega Man a cyborg rather than a robot?
And Optimus Prime has been many things to many people. A role model, someone to look up to, a father figure in some cases from what I've heard, and all that a good leader can be. So it's no wonder that he took the top spot.

I can't believe that Data ranked as low as he did. Good list, though, and Optimus Prime is exactly where he should be.

Data is an android, not a robot.
The modern cylons are.. something else.
Kitt is just a computer in a car.
Great list right there.

Isn't Mega Man a cyborg rather than a robot?
He's more of a robot than Prime is- while the Transformers can be considered alien lifeforms by some instead of robots, Mega Man was specifically built from metal parts and polymers to serve humanity.

Despite the picture, I'd assume they mean one of the TV characters of Optimus Prime, not the movie guy.

Yes, how dare they? He was the first robot to give a hmanoid the finger, for crying out loud!
As for the actual article...cool. Nice to see Transformers get a bit of recognition these days.

Regarding Cylons;
Not only did they wipe out most of the human race, they come in hot models like Tricia Helfer.
Where can i sign up?
