i recently have been through all my old tf toys and found manny broken from years of playing with them, one of these included my g1 optimus prime haha

Well, considering I'm no longer a fan of G1, it wouldn't bother me if I found one of my old ones in less than stellar shape, considering they were well played with. (However, considering I sold off that collection long ago...it's impossible to find one now. lol)

Now, when I pulled my Armada and Energon figures out of storage and saw scuff marks and a few small paint scrapes, I hit the roof.

Shockwave was broken when I got him in a trade, though I pestered my dad into trying to help me fix him.

I just wish I didn't disassemble him further when it proved fruitless. *sniffs as he looks toward the front half of the chest piece*

My dear old G1 Quickmix I broke the Red part behind hes head ... And some of my other Late G1 toys ...

And my dear ol' Darkwing! I didnt knew i had to use a Nebulon to Transform him, so i just ripped the **** out of him, and used a scissor to get hes head up! You can still see the scar today.

My cousin gave me them so i didnt knew that Darkwing was a Powermaster.

G1 Megatron when I got him on Christmas of '84. Took him out of the box, while changing him the first time I put too much pressure on the gun barrel and SNAP! there goes the hinge.

I never had any TF toys, but my brother had a bunch of them. He had TWO G1 Optimus Prime toys... both which got broken. I guess they didn't make those toys to last =/

Mostly Overlord. Although my nephew had a hand in that, too.

I buried my Constructicons when I was 6 or 7... And that area is now covered by a path. Damn... I wish I still had them...

wow so im not the only one who regrets it to this day haha. seriously the one i miss the most is my g1 hook, he was my first and he died

Yeah, I miss my Turbomasters Scorch and Rotorstorm, I miss my old Stalker, with missile, etc, hell, I miss my European Exclusives, and I miss my old G2 Optimus.

I forgot earlier... Snarl. He's in a lot of pieces and I still have most. Unfortunately, there is no fixing him anymore.

Most of mine weren't broke, but just got "lost" from my mom selling them when she THOUGHT I was done with TFs.

I do remember that my Jetfire broke quite easily (damn complexity of those Macrosses) and I somehow ended up with none of the tracks that go to Omega Supreme (still a cool toy without the tracks though so no biggie).

I have no idea what happened to my G2 Slag, but I wish he was still present.

For me, it wasn't so much 'breaking' as 'not having' or 'getting secondhand and not having all of the pieces.'

I remember that I used to have G1 Ratchet's sled, but I have no idea what happened to it. I also remember that my favourite Autobot car was Mirage. I let my little brother transform him. "If you don't know now, just ask me," I said. Damn it, he BENT the waist instead of TURNING it. I tried to fix it, but I just broke the piece inside even worse.

I still have Mirage, he's on my shelf with the rest of my G1s/G2s/BW. To this day I haven't tried to fix him. And I haven't let my little brother transform my Classics Mirage!

My G1 Highbrow rotors broke whan I bite it without knowing what I was doing. Then my G1 Rampage broke its right leg.

My whole G1 collection I left at my mom's house when I moved out with my now wife. My nephews found the collection and poof all gone. About 100-150 bots and cons

I had a bad habit of putting Gestalts into my Transformers box fully assembled. I had a vast collection of headless Combiner components. Megatron broke from over use. Jazz broke the day I got him and Charlene took him back. Prime's legs snapped off at the hips. I can't remember all the casualties, but I do know that Charlene gave them all away to her then boyfriend's children because she assumed I grew out of them. Bitch.
