Several years ago, a canberra band called Meatbee covered the theme of the Transformers into their own style. They Are Amoung Us got back in contact with them. It appears that the group was up to re-record the song as the official theme to the Michael Bay Transformers Movie, but in the end didn't make it. The group did record a video clip for their new version, which can be viewed below.

I actually like that song. Pretty sweet stuff.

...Why they chose that Mutemath one over the Deceptibot, Black Lab, or Meatbee themes is beyond me...

Not bad. Better than what we got. They need a better singer though. Shes not bad but doesn't have the range they need for the song. And shes kind of annoying. The Guitar solo was good. The only other thing wrong was there wasn't enough lyrics. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Wow...That was bad. Besides the roll call, Linkin Parks version is still the best one of those we've heard. Still none of them touch Lion's version.

Wow, I think it's really good actually. Sounds very different but still familiar enough. It's nice, very dramatic. Too bad they didn't put it in the movie.

I like it, but, just like the others we heard it can't touch Lion's version.

the kept the lyrics but seems to lose the actual theme tune - sounds too much like a james bond theme in parts

Heh. Suddenly, if it's not balls-out Slipknot or some guy rapping over it, it's "emo". I don't think it's emo at all... more reminiscent of early 90s alternative rock.

The production and musicianship on this is really nice... very lush, and I like how they didn't put in a bunch of filler lyrics and kept it simple. I'm so tired of that "Yo yo yo... AutoBWOTS! DeceptiCWONS! BumbleBWEE! Optimus PWIME! MegaTWON!!! Hey... yeayahhh!" (Dancing idiots and booty shaking ensues.)

The girl's vocals were a bit weak, and not because she's a girl, but because they were weak. Otherwise it was a good song with an epic feel appropriate for a movie soundtrack. It beats Mutemath and Linkin Park.

Don't even go there. This girl is not even in Alanis Morissette's ballpark.

They're BIG EF'IN METAL ROBOTS why would whiny slow emo rock be suitable??? It needed to be big heavy and loud metal, just an updated version of what we had back with the original movie. Everytime I hear the music kicking I still get shivers down my spine.
