It's the only kind of game DeNA makes. And now the premium bots cost 50 character cores and make combiners useless.

Made Combiners useless after promoting a Bruticus giveaway to former Legends players. You'd think they'd at least wait until their last venture collapsed before making the same mistakes.

First thing I noticed when I picked up Battle Tactics was that they seemed to be doing everything that ran Legends into the ground, but faster. Weekly events, new bots, power creep, premium bots that you can technically get for free but only with the luck of the gods and you'd have to play constantly, pay-to-win leaderboards... and a sense of satisfaction when you play, even for free. Goddamnit. I just tell myself that there's at least an element of strategy in this game, with the choice of modes, bot abilities, special attacks, powerups, and unit targeting that weren't present in Legends. That keeps me going. And if I'm tempted to spend money, I remember the hundred bucks I sank into Legends and where that game is now.

But seriously the power creep in this game is ridiculous. The hyper rare Grimlock prize from an event or two ago has better stats than half the combiners, and he still only takes up one slot instead of two. Centurion, the only combiner you can get outside events, is piss now.

Cool! Was he paired with Rampage, Waspinator, and Dinobot?
I got Tarantulas just by recruiting him within the first few hours... DeNA made a mistake and made him free to recruit. Unfortunatly, it's no longer possible

I think the one I was fighting had Lio Convoy, Transmetal Megatron, and Arcee. It's cool you got him early though

Yeah, I'm a huge Beasties fan, so I was lucky to be able to get him for free, because I suck at the daily campaigns and would have never gotten him otherwise.

Is anyone else getting bored of this game?

I kind of am now that I have a full tier 5 team, but I keep playing just for the nostalgia.

I quit playing it for a couple months and am back into it again. Propably something you just need to put down for a bit

I'm a big BW fan too, is that team your main setup? Mines Lio Convoy, G2 Megatron, Inferno, and soon to be Armada Galvatron. I've been around since it came out for iOS

It is, and thankfully they're my heaviest hitters. Inferno? G1 or BW, because Imma be sad if they already did BW Inferno unbeknownst to me

They did BW Inferno during the second Beast Wars event I believe. You don't see him anymore because he's useless though.

Inferno may not be the best, but he's not useless. I have Armada and V2 Galvatron thanks to him. I still have him in two teams. By the way, the did Beast Wars Scorponok with the same event as Inferno

Yeah, with every new event stronger characters come in. Making early tier 5's useless.

My lineup of Arcee, Lio Convoy, Spinister and Bonecrusher could easily beat a team of Optimus Primal Bat, Inferno, Hot Spot and G2 Megatron

Two Lio Convoys, a Spinister, and in two weeks a Tarantulas, unless I manage to place top 200 in teams or top.... however high gets you a R5 unit in solo, in one of the next events. Some past units are still decent, but if they have less than 100 health it's generally not worth subbing into my team.

Yeah, I forgot which Beast Wars event it was. I just got both the new Galvatrons from this event. I usually drop in PVP rank on purpose so I have more room next event(easier teams). It's called Battle Tactics for a reason

If there were rewards for having a high pvp rank I would keep my pvp rank high.
