DC Universe Online

I'm going to attempt to play this again. Before I moved out, I couldn't play it because the router we had was weak and my PS3 was like almost 30 feet away from the router. But this time I'm going to try again with a different modem. Its not far from my modem and the signal is stronger. If this doesn't work, I'll be a little mad.

Too bad that's the only system it's available for, huh?

If you need me, I'll be in the PC version.

I already have it for PS3 so I don't think I should buy it again. And I don't think my laptop is good enough to play DCUO on. I'll just stick to the PS3 version

If you buy it again, you have been seriously ripped off because it's a free game.

I know it's free to play. But you don't have to pay for the game itself? Hmm. Like I said though, I don't think my laptop is good enough to play the game on.

Crysis

I just beat the game on Delta (the hardest difficulty). I only need 2 more trophies which are throw 20 enemies and throw 10 objects at enemies and I'll have the platinum trophy.

You can download DC Universe directly to your PS3 for free if you have 16+ GBs of free space. It will take 7 or more hours to download, but it is a freebie. However, you to pay for extra stuff (e.g. you can't be a Lantern on the freebie version), do not know all the details myself, but I considering it (especially with a free trail).
Wigglez, tell me when you got the game downloaded and your character's name. I will happily work with you, or hunt you down like a dog and kill you(depending on my character's mood).

PS I actually experimented with PS Home thing. Is it just me, or people treat you much better DC Universe overall than at Home, and half of them wants to play the troll and kill you.

Of course not, otherwise it wouldn't be free-to-play.

I already know about DCUO because I've had it for about 2 years now. But I got it before it was announced to be free to play so I ended up buying it for $60. I should've waited. But I already have a few trophies from it and have a Green Lantern character. Add me on PSN, we'll rock it together.

I thought you had to pay for it first and then play with the free account. But I guess it's not like that. I bought it before it became f2p

My only character (I still a newbie) is a level 20 bad guy named Darga Shadow, so may I propose a duel sometime this weekend. Pick your neighborhood, then it is your Lantern vs my assassin. Oh yeah, my character is a backshooting (or back-hypnodarting) ambush predator wannabe scumbag who will happily kill while you are fighting something else, preferably someone nasty that will deal a lot of damage. What can I say, my character is spineless troll-like coward who picks on the weak and wounded. Its a dog-eat-dog world out there nowadays, I died at the hands of Level 30 trolls andI stink at head to head combat, thus I developed a niche for backstabbing and collecting bounty. If we to team up one day, we might as well know each other strengths and weaknesses.
Just tell me your Lantern's name and I will find you.

You know what's really crazy? You didn't give any details about your character.

Anyone playing Tomb Raider? I've heard some very good things about it. Just got the game yesterday, but I haven't found time to play it yet. Will make some time for it tomorrow.

DC Universe Online

I've played it. It doesn't make my PS3 lose internet or anything and it works fine. I've been trying to play some level 30 missions with my Green Lantern guy. I haven't really touched my level 30 villain. I'm on free to play so I don't get them super awesome missions which needs to change. I'm gunna try to get a years worth of a subscription so I can get the Oa missions and stuff

I'm guessing you had a subscription and let it lapse?

DC Universe Online:
Did the Prime Battleground. Well, for the millionth time, and I still didn't win. This time, though, we got Brainiac down to like half health before we got beaten. It was our second try, but, of course, you always get that d-bag idiot who bails despite the fact that all we really needed was one more try. And that causes the whole domino reaction and soon I'm all that's left in the raid.

Some people, huh?

Also, I did all the Home Turf stuff. Ace Chemicals and Stryker's Island for heroes, and Arkham Asylum and Steelworks for villains. Ace and Arkham were waaaaaaay easier, though. And they drop some decent loot, too.

TO Morrow: "Oh hell, it's Batman. Well, it's been nice working with you. Try to at least trip him up when he steps over your unconscious body."

Tomb Raider

Two days into the game, and loving every minute of it! It's every bit a good as the reviews say it is!

Combat system is intelligent and the enemy AI is challenging, but not frustrating. QTE's can be a little on the annoying side though, particularly the part where you hang-glide through the pin forest.

Overall, I'm getting a strong Lost vibe with the whole "stranded on an island with hostile cult members, with mysterious evil powers lurking within" theme. It's not a bad thing really, but it feels different from a lot of TR games in the past. But really, it's not a bad thing.

Progress:

Currently at the shantytown. Raided two tombs and moving on.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword:
I'm playing it over again, because why not? Apparently so little of it stuck in my head, it makes the game feel remarkably fresh, despite the fact that I haven't even owned the game for a whole year.

Just cleared the Silent Realm in Lanayru (Those horrible horrible things are WAAAAY easier if you use a guide) and got access to the Time Boat.

Yes...Time Boat. It's awesome as hell.

It's basically the origin story of everything. Including the creation of the Master Sword, as well as the explanation for Ganondorf's constant returns, as well as why Zelda is always so important. It's the earliest entry in the official timeline, and it's been stated that the Link and Zelda who appear in it are, chronologically, the first Link and Zelda ever.

Steady progress here. Just finished these levels:

- Horseradish Hill
- Brussels Sprouts Bay
- Apple Acres
- Spud City
- Bridge Bottoms

And found 6 of the 12 necessary and 21 total Boobus Bombs. Yeah, don't ask about the name.

Having a pretty rough time with MGR's VR missions. Barely cleared 11 of the 20 missions, and the "eliminate all enemies" missions are brutal. Barely scored rank 3 on the easiest one, and struggling to even get through on the harder ones.

Everything is reliant on blade mode and parrying, the latter of which I still kind of suck at. On the second eliminate all enemies mission, I cleared both hordes, the first using blade mode and the second by getting lucky and scoring a parry with the whole group bunched together, but couldn't get past the third horde of custom cyborgs.

Hell I wasn't even EXPECTING a 3rd horde.
