Hey everyone. I didn't manage to get an update post before the storms and 'naders knocked out my internet. Posting from my phone is a pain so I waited until morning to see if the net would come back up. It didn't.

Anyway, I was able to secure a Starscream card finishing in the low 700s. Towards the end, I had a couple bosses defeated and would wait to collect on them until my rank dropped into the high 800s. This would usually propel back into the low 600s and I was never in danger of falling out of the bubble. It added a little extra excitement fighting bosses and watching projected paths of tornados and determining my real life danger level at the same time. What a rush! Thanks to 'kon and Monuo for the tips. A few of them turned out to be real gems on the last day.

I noticed in reading the rules for the next episode, that article is advertising a 20% attack bonus if your deck is full of Autobots. Has this been in effect for a while? I've known that attack bonus is awarded to the attacking faction with a matching faction weapon. But has it always been multiplied when the deck is full of that faction?

As far as I've seen, the faction bonus has been there starting with ROTS or FF, can't remember. But it was 5% for robot with matching faction weapon, 10% if leaders were robot with matching faction weapon, and 20% for the whole team.

People think it's a typo that the bonus will be for autobots this episode since dinobots are attacking decepticons. Who knows, we'll see when it starts.

We live in Oklahoma and were down in the 'fraidy hole as well last night. Had a tornado touch down 3 miles west of our home, fortunately it was in a field and went back up.

Monuo, we live in south west Oklahoma City. It was exciting all night. Honestly, my initial reaction was that it was a typo as well. Firstly, because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the first time that they said something wrong during the rules of one of the episodes. And secondly, it seem like the raid cards are going to be decepticons. That wouldn't make any sense to use raid cards that would be of the appropriate faction for the bonus. But then again, making sense isn't necessarily the be all, end all with this game so....

Talking about hitting close to home! Hope you and your family are all surviving this weather. I swear, Moore is a tornado magnet.

So I figured since we have only 2 dinobots left, they would be the raid cards and a bunch of decepticons would be the bosses, but I guess Ramjet and Ratbat are supposed to be the raid cards and dinobots are bosses. Also, tfw2005 have mentioned that mobage is releasing the ultra rare card R5 ironhide (get this) if you purchase him through the spacebridge. The thing is, the chance of getting him is really low and as you make space bridge purchases, the odds of getting him increase until you are guaranteed one on the 20th purchase.

I don't know how true all that is but some of the guys who pick through the code have been pretty spot on so far and it follows mobage's plans of squeezing blood from a stone so I believe it.

I was beginning to think it'd be a pretty quiet season this year then that thing in Moore came through. That was quite a beast of a tornader.

And I've had a few juicy LV4 drops, but now I need their match, be it alt or bot. If Mobage would offer up a little system of where I could buy the specific cards I want at a premium, I'd be more inclined to throw more cash their way. But I see why they don't do that, too.

On the other hand, seems to work well for Marvel A:A. A few characters rely on chance games, but most you can buy whenever you happen to want to pony up the dough for them or *gasp* play the game free long enough to save up the needed amount of in-game currency.

Well I'll say this. I actually got into the top 5000. This netted me about 3000 gold cards. Out of 2000 cards I have netted 2x lvl 4 cards.

I really wish that they would make the chance a some what better "drop" rate. 2000 cards and I walk away with 2 bot cards and 0 alt cards. Sad thing is the lvl 4 cards are weaker than the cards I have already.

Out of the 2000 weapon cards I had I received 3 lvl 3 bumblebee weapons cards.

Having bad luck really kills.

They really should just make this a monthly pay to play game instead of giving poor saps hope of ever trying to keep up or even have a chance in future of getting better cards.

My team is all level 4 cards now. What this means is, as much as I hate the episodes, I can't progress without them.

I started the technique everyone here has been talking about of saving cubes for a few episodes. We'll see how that goes.

Unless I saved for 3 episodes, top 1000 seems pretty hard. I have 170 BC saved up after one episode.

I've been having more fun with their Blood Brothers game which has a lot more free playability than Transformers: Legends does.

I wouldn't call that bad luck, I'd call it normal for this game. I had about 2400 gold medals and significant less silver medals. From those, I grabbed 1 R4 from silvers and 2 from gold. Of my 2400 gold weapon medals, I didn't get any R4s. It's not bad luck, that's just how stupidly stingey they've made this game.

They won't and shouldn't make this game a monthly pay to play game. For one, I'd never play it again. This game is no where near good enough or deep enough to pay a fee for. I'd never play again and wouldn't miss it.

Secondly, there's a reason this "free to play" business model exists. It works. You get a taste of the game for free and then get suckered into paying money over and over again for a more complete experience. Nobody would ever play any of mobage's games if they were pay to play. Mobage and its developers would be out of business. But give people the game for free and charge them small fees for in game content that makes the game "better", well now you've got something.

Good luck to all, hope you get the prizes you want!

I'm just hoping they reuse the slug, snarl, and sludge cards from the first dino event as well as a new grimlock and swoop. If they reuse cards, I will have hope that people will be able to start completing cyberdex entries.

I think I may be retiring from this game. It has no depth, IMO and the chance to get good cards is infostemal at best. I've grown bored. I do love the artwork though.

Don't waste your money on the bridge. tfw2005 just had someone go through all 6 teirs, only 2 of the 6 teirs are guaranteed episode cards. the other 4 will produce R3 cards. The total to do all 6 teirs is 6000 coins, $60

Remember when you said the bosses you see are based on the total pts you have.

I have more evidence that disproves that.

I'm sitting here playing this with a guy from the office, my deck power is about 11k and I started seeing slug lvl 1 at 80000 pts

He was at 40000 pts and his deck was worth only 8000 pts. He gambled and bought the 100 coin bridge and got shockwave robot mode (lucky stiff). He maxed it out and his deck pts went up to a little ove 11k, similiar to mine. Within a within 3 boss battles, he was seeing, and 1 cubing slug lvl 1, yet he had half the pts I did and his rank was much lower.

So I decided to spend the 100 free mobacoins I got and got a rat bat alt mode. I immediately started seeing lvl 5 slug. When I got his robot mode at 100K, I MTMed him and since 100k to now, I've only seen lvl 4 and 5 slug. I'm currently at 150k pts.

There's got to be more to this than just rank pts.

and Joe,

you read that right, I spent my free 100 coins on this game in this month that I vowed not to spend any coins. I was just hoping I could be as lucky as my friend and get half a shockwave.

Oh and I'm not 1 cubing anything now, infiniplay has ended the very first night. At least the rewards system has gotten better and we can win half of ratbat and all the weapons now.

Did they at least get the set of R5s? I'm fine with people spending that kind of money on the R5s because most people won't do it (even the repeat spenders) and the game won't be flooded with them.

Having said that, they WILL offer a huge advantage. So getting into the top 1500 may prove difficult if they become popular.

While I will probably find something to bitch about later, at a glance, I like the changes that have been implemented so far. The R5s are the top prize and again, won't flood the game because its only top 100. The top 1500 now get the second best prize. Gone are the half cards and the 2 of the same card rewards from the final prizes. Gone are the 2X R3 cards. Back are some decent cards from the point rewards (even if only half a bot is available). And the episode description for the gold warrior medals has been changed to include the chance to get the R5s. Although, I have some gold medals left over from the last episode that are now in the regular bridge and it does NOT include the R5s in the description. This might be a little concerning since it seems the R5s will be just another episode tier of cards.

I also really like the list of characters in this event. We had heard speculation of the existence of R5 Ironhide but R5 Grimlock and Shockwave are a complete suprise to me. Who doesn't like the Dinobots? And I'm a big fan of the coneheads and enjoy seeing Ramjet get some episode consideration.

This is a pretty interesting first episode in a month that was supposed to be a money spending boycott month. While I'm still on board, I'm sure the presence of the R5s (much beloved character R5s at that) have turned quite a few of the weaker willed people out there who would have struggled with the boycott even under normal circumstances.

I'll let it slide. 10X R5s are a game changer that hadn't been considered. Plus, Shockwave and Grimlock were both on the list of sacred characters that I posted just a couple days ago.

I still possess the free mobacoins that I've aquired over the last couple episodes. I may consider spending them. The changes that I've seen have been positive. The flip side of the "always mad at mobage" coin is that sometimes its ok to let them know when they've done right.

Quick question. Haa anyone pulled event cards from the space bridge in the past few episodes?
I've used thousands of space bridges (gold and silver) but I havent had an event card since Cliffjumper months ago. Had no problems getting a transcanned Hound out of the first event and a transcanned Dige either.

Not even a day into the game and I'm facing bosses that I need help with.

Generally when that happens I quickly run out of cubes and it's game over. Yay.

I will say I think the chances for pulling R4 cards and episode cards have increased. I've used about 1500 mixed between silver and gold and I've pulled R4 skywarp robot, Flamewar Alt, and Episode Ratbat Robot.

This

Also, there is a site called freemobacoins.com

It will give you a coupon for 5000 coins if you either A: fill out a survey with personal info or B: share on facebook, twitter, etc (there's a list) then post it on a few links.

I haven't tried it but I think it will require your facebook to have full public access so it can check it, at least it says its checking it.

I'm going to try it when I have time, but first I'm going to create a fake email, fake facebook so I don't destroy mine with spyware.

On another note, I've had incredible luck sniping and I only do 13 mil avg to slugs. Has anyone else noticed a better luck at sniping? I think they beefed their server so they could make updates happen quicker.
